Trying to get my tent set up and attempting to run 6" semi ridgid aluminum duct to my hood. The hood flanges are 6" and the duct is 6", it won't freaking fit on the hood. How can I do this? Would the really flexible
6" ducting that comes in 25 ft. fit on there or should I go to 8" aluminum? The aluminum ducting is the kind that comes in 8 ft. pieces. Oh, and I rigged a 6" axial fan on the other end of the hood to push air through the hood, this should work, shouldn't it? Thanks again.

You're better off with the 6" flex pipe. The metal pipe you will either have to buy a crimper to make them fit or they have short adapters that will fit 2 of those pipes together. You're going to want to be able to raise and lower it anyway so flex is the way to go.
