My girls sprouted(in ground) on March 1, and started floweing in early July. I then started feeding them with MG BLOOM BOOSTER. 15-30-15. The buds were growing nicely, but I've noticed that 2 of my girls had some problems. The top fan leaves and bud leaves were curling upwards, yellowing, browning, and then dyeing. I pulled some of them off, and they were almost crispy they were so dry. It's been raining a lot, so it's not lack of water. What's the problem? Luckily, it's only happening on 2 plants. The bud growth on those 2 has slowed down tremendously. Btw, I wanted to let the bottom buds grow some more because the lower leaves are still green, but I dont want to risk top cola damage. I thought the lower leaves always died first. What's the problem? Any help appreciated. They were planted in some pretty big holes in some decent soil, but the outside of the holes are surrounded with some rocky terrrain. Did the roots outgrow the hole, and get rootbound on me or something? thanks. Sorry, no pics.

I was told to move this question to Plant Problems, so I did. And still no responses. Help a brother out here.

Hey, i'll try to point you in the right direction.

Sounds like you've got some problems with your nutes to me, a lot of people don't like MG for mj, get something thats meant for mj, look see if you got a hydroponic store nearby or there's places on the web. Maybe a problem with your soil, what type are you using, i use a pre-mixed soil meant for mj although you can mix your own, but you must know what you're putting in there coz it can have an impact on ph etc over time. If you let the guys know what soil you're using someone more experienced will hopefully know about it and any problems that it may have.

Take a look here Charts, Guides, Graphs and Goodies (http://boards.cannabis.com/plant-problems/149333-charts-guides-graphs-all-sortsa-useful-goodies.html) You might be able to work out the problem with the charts. Also try googling "cannabis sick plant guide" there's some good info out there with pics, you may spot something that looks just like your problem.

Good luck! :rastasmoke:

Quite likely it was caused by overapplication of a fertilizer known for being too harsh for cannabis.

Thanks fellas. I used the hated MG potting soil, mixed in with some of the original soil. lol! The others are looking great thouigh. Already harvested one. It was one of the before mentioned plants, that had basically stopped budding, they were growing so slow. Only got 12 grams poff of it, but the upper leaves looked like they were dying. I only had 2 with this problem. Thats whats so weird about it. Hey, 2 small ones out of 8 is'nt that bad. lol!! I was thinking rootbound, because it took me forever to dig the holes because of so many rocks.
