with some people here i spoke to the chatroom about the leaves of the plants drooping due to the small size of pots (2 gallon)....to day i realised that the leaves in question are the big fan leaves of the two largest plants...the ones at the back left and right in the pics.....in reality these leaves are not drooping, it's just that i tied them down during vegetation and i released them shortly afterwards.....the S shape the plants took while tied down does make them look like drooping......however tying them down caused further branches to be created and more tops.....all the plants range from 1 1/2 -4/5 ft tall and are grown from single cola (small ones) to large bush/tree-bush type of thing.......in 12 days i will take my first pick...any advice?

7lbs LOL, that's not gonna be close to 7lbs. That'd be 1pound per plant or 16 ozs per plant. It's not realistic. Rule of thumb for experienced growers is 1gram/watt, 2grams/watt is really amazing and many experienced hydro growers see 2g/watt as great. If you want any more than that and you're probably gonna have to do a coli.
2lbs/1000 watt is what the folks at advanced nutrients claim their cannabis specific nutes can give you, with CO2 in a sealed room with completely controlled environment.
I'd guess 1 pound, 16oz dry manicured weight.

unless this strain does real wonders....
in a review i read in www.overgrow.com a plant ,of this strain, grown outside with almost no care gave out 200 grams=7.2oz.....that's why i am a bit sceptical but happy happy whatsoever as this is my very first grow... hehehehe... :).....in the photos you are not able to understand that a single plant is two ft tall and has all around 16-inch colas(do not really know how many....20 would seem the number close to reality) & one cola in the center ,the big one...out of this plant i expect to make around 3/10 of my total harvest.....as for the rest , even though they are tall and seem stretched, they have even more bud sites than the one i descrbed above.... :) in 5 weeks time i will know the results :)

That's really great for a first go, if you took clones you could really fill that area out in the next go with the best females. That would definately bump the yield up a quite a bit as they'd have a more homogenous canopy. Repotting would also probably increase yield, I think 2 gallons is a little small for plants that size and by the time you get into later flowering you're gonna have to water them daily which is a PITA. If you can go to 4gal containers It'd probably help. They look nice and healthy so far.

geeeee thanx for the comments....i can't re-pot.....this one will be done into the pots they are right now.....if they show they need watering every day it's ok...i'll water them....so far i have discovered that they drink up around 150-175 ml per day each.....adding more than 375 ml of water when top layers look dry causes flushing within 3 mins....i guess the drainage of the soil is good....they had their last shot of N ferts , full strength yesterday, along with half-strength of PK:13-14.....their new watering schedule will be nuts once a week full strength PK:13-14....should be once every 2-3 waterings.....for week 5&6....then for week 7 only water....week 8 nothing...total dryness....the idea for taking clones was expressed to me by the guys in Dutch Passion....nahhhhh....i want to try a different strain next grow...one that will definately give me more yield, one i am going to be more careful with.....thanx for the comments :)

Canna PK13-14 is supposed to be used in conjunction with your regular bloom fert (it's a bloom additive not a bloom fert). I think it's just P and K and your plants need more than just macros but it depends on what you're using for soil. I've used promix which is great, peat based soiless so no nutes in it, you have better control of feeding ratios but since it has no nutes your feed has to be balanced or else it might get some micro deficiencies, I still love it over any other top soil. Root growth is great with the promix cause it's so light. Top soil might have enough micros in it already. But the dilution ratio's they give on the bottle is for use along side your regular bloom fert.

yes i know all that.....it's true that PK:13-14 is a supplement and it is meant to be used in conjunction to the regular fert.....BUT....the soil i use is a special one.....it is made especially for plants that produce flowers.....for example....i did not use any ferts during vegetation but twice....not that the plants showed any defficiencies, i was just anxious for them to grow even more.....this particular soil i bought is meant for geranium plants, it contains micro and macro nutrients, organic material.....ph balanced around 7 etc.....so far so good i suppose....now, the only thing that could cause trouble to my plants is not any food deficiency (that i can deal with easily)......my only BIG mistake is that i have them growing into 2 1/2 gallon pots.....they might get root bound but then again i hope they will not as i water them almost every too days with a little water each (around 150-175ml) so as they do not flush from the bottom and loose any nutrients......i have even put some nails in each pot so as to have Fe at any time available....i've read that they need it especially during flowering.....next time though i will put them into 5 gallon pots and flower them when they reach 12 inches....this time they went into flowering when the biggest was almost two ft.....anyway, i am almost two and a half weeks away to stop feeding them any nuts at all so i guess everything will go as planned......today is day 23 into 12/12.....with lots of TLC I show them they will make it as planned to harvest :)

so far i have been using one fert NPK:7-3-6 full stergnth along with the PK:13-14 in half strength.....from the following week i go into PK:13-14 full strength(that's 100-125ml/100lt of water)....for one watering every 3....two weeks are enough....then one week only water and then it's the harvest week......cross ur fingers and wish me luck!!!

hi newgrower, those plants look great mate, it wont be untill the last couple of weeks that you will see major changes, two gallon pots are deffinatly a little small for those girls but dont worry it will only give you a smaller yeald than is possible, if ya feed and water well hey will be ok, as for leaves going yellow, they will mate, some do natruly, you are doing well for your first grow, next time use much bigger pots, as for finding a plant that yealds more well yours is a heavy yealder, i cant remeber how many plants you got but i guess you can expect a pound out of that room, your doing well my congrats to you,
