This is my first time growin anything, but i fink i'm not doin too badly at the mo..
germinated 5 LowRyer#2 around the tenth a august, had the five seedlings in the pots by the 13th, eres a pic of my babies on day 6 under a 250w hps in a home box..:thumbsup:

after 18 days i found two males:(, i've only 3 plants left, none of which ave shown any sex yet..:(

how is grow going for you? i have been looking and have found several people starting with this strain.. is there a reason for this besides for the small size of the plant? seems like everyone who is doing the "aero grow" thing is using this strain... i would defintely like to know where it falls as of indica/sativa and just how it smokes in general..

males still have some THC in them, you should just save them and make them into hash.

i picked lowryder cos i've only got 1.2M height wise to work wit, so i wanted a really short strain.

MIDNIGHTspecial - i chopped up all the males cos i didn't want dem pollenating the females, and i donno how to make hash.

31 days of VEG. right. I have plants that are 31 days and they are covered in BUD.

yeah dont switch them to 12/12 they flower with age, do 18-24 hours of light a day

you will definately like the smoke a good buzz thats quite heavy, have you got yourself a eye glass to check the color of the trichs?

Hi, Ive just started a grow of auto ak-47 by lowlife. They recommend putting their seeds directly in a 5 litre pot.
That's what I did on my first grow and they were just fine. The slight drawback though, is unless the seeds you've got are all feminised, you'll end up preparing a larger quantity of soil mix than you'll need. Unless you want to grow the males as well for seeds or hash, etc.

These days, I tend to start them off in biodegradable seedling pots and then replant only the females in the larger pots (after they've shown sex - about 17 to 21 days). Same results, but a saving on: compost, perlite, ferts etc.

Anyhow, good luck, they're great little plants and very reliable, and I'm sure you'll enjoy the 'fruits' of your labour!

yeah start in little pots and once they show sex move to lager ones.. i can't add any more advice than Flameon..

So, those little beauties must be curing by now. What was the effect like?

sorry for the delay, i'm back at college and haven't had much time to myself.

so i harvested one a my babies on the the 12th and left the other two for an extra week.
All three plants are hangin and dryin..
so i don't know wat sorta weight i'm dealin with yet.
with the two i left for an extra week, the leaves turned a purple colour, which i didn't expect..

i couldn't wait any longer, so i took a little piece off the first one i chopped and placed it in the hot press, for a quick dry and smoke..

and what a smoke it is, this is some of the best smoke i've ever had..

once i get in dried proper, i'll post a deft weight.. but from my eye judgement, i'd say their's just ova an ounce per plant..

ounce a plant is a great yield for LR2, knew you would like the buzz, i think most people are surprised how strong it is. happy smoking:jointsmile:

Congrats on a very successful grow!
I currently have 2 feminised LR2s on the go, if the yield is anywhere near an oz per plant I'll be a very happy smoker.
