I think it is important that we Vote YES and to get the word out to friends and family in Michigan. Plenty of people are not aware of Prop 1 on the November 4 ballot.

Also even if you have no faith in politicians you can vote yes for Prop 1 and leave everything else blank on your ballot. There is no law that says you have to vote for anymore than one thing on the ballot.

Also if you are paranoid like I am and don't want to go to the polls you can vote by absentee ballot. Just go to: hxxp://www.michigan.gov/sos/0,1607,7-127-1633_11619-123989--,00.html#7 and download the absentee voter application fill it out and mail it in. There are six ways to qualify. The easiest one is that you plan to be out of the area the entire time the polls are open. I have attached the absentee ballot application for convenience.

You will need to know the name and address of the clerk for your polling station and you can find that info here: hxxps://services2.sos.state.mi.us/mivote/

One more note: If you have lost your Drivers License or ID but are registered to vote you can still vote without picture ID in Michigan by signing an affidavit at your polling place on the day of the election. hxxp://michigan.gov/sos/0,1607,7-127-15719_15730-178123--,00.html
