Is it common for all or most fan leaves to turn yellow while 3 or 4 weeks into flowering? My friend has 3 small plants and they are all doing this and they all have 2 to 3 weeks to go. He is worried to up nutes too much as it might be deficiency because he doesnt want to nute burn. They are soil closet grown

the small looking one I cut half down early. The one in the right corner is closest to harvest, 2 weeks maybe. The left 2 have early buds maybe 3-4 weeks.

Ok, Well this is not too bad... I'm really not an expert, so if someone can confirm this. But I think it normal to have yellowing at that stage. They don't seems burn by overfert. The thing you should do is remove the dead leafs from the pot. It can cause mold or attract insects. I'm would not too worry if they where my plants but again it just my idea.

I thought the leaves might give a little co2 but its probably nothing to them, ill snatch them out. And yeah like I said at first it may just be of old age, but if anyone else has opinions please post.

the lower fan leaves always yellow and die during flowering ... perfectly normal, as the plant sucks nourishment from them ... just let 'em drop

We pulled the leaves out and they did actually have mold on some of them. I hope that won't affect the plants. The buds themselves look fine.

Hey Algag
To me they look pretty good.
The one thing I noticed in the photo was the baking soda.
Just for your information, Baking soda will cause a salt buildup in your soil.
Just so your aware, I use it to adjust my ph, but it will cause salt buildup.
Good Luck
