Need help. I get these little green catipillars that hide deep in my buds and eat away. Every year I grow a couple of crops. I never have problems with early crops that I harvest in May-June. But my late season crop gets these little fockers and only when they start budding. I have been picking these off my babies as best I can. Any ideas. I have tried shaking the plants but these little fockers like my babies as much as I do and dont want to let go. I think its too late to spray as they are close to being ready to harvest. Mad as hell in modesto!!

I think they are called tomato caterpillers I've gotten them before and fortunately killing the suckers is easy. Neem oil spray works great on them but if you are getting towards the last 2-3 weeks of flowering you'll have to remove them manually. I don't know if you can use a soap type spray on the buds its safe for veggies but with mmj idk. Good luck.

I don't remember what it's called, but there's an organic pesticide that's made from Kelp. that's always worked great for me. and you can use it at any time. biodegradable and all that tosh.

Good Luck pulling the critters off manually. Ever try Dr.Bronners Soap can be found in most health food stores. The labeling goes on some crazy rant but instructions r there as well enjoy the read LOL. Happy smokin :hippy:

these are apple moth larvae...they will tunnel in and kill the buds they drill into and eat. I tried organic foggers/sprays ...nada

Keep picking them off (they hide inside too so ya got to open the buds a lil to see) along with the dead stuff and watch for mold in those areas

they ate alot of my crop
