Good or Bad Idea= Plant flowered for 10 days, Still OK to make as MOTHER?

I had all my plants in one room and started flowering, Was working on seperate room for mothers and veg that was to be finished following day. Tragic accident with a family member that detained me for 10 days before I could move the plant I chose as the mother. The plant is definetly flowering.I put it under a 400w mh 24h and gave full veg nutes. Is this worth keeping or just return it back to the flower room and take clones from it?

leave it in bud cut clones
they will take a little longer to root
but you should be ok

Aside from masking one branch, or fem seeds, I always have to flower mine to tell the sex before I pick a mother. Or else it may be a father! I am missing somehting here in the question.

If your going to leave it in flower your better off taking clones in the second week of flowering. Like weezer said they will take longer to root. Do you know the sex of the plants?
