Just got my new dark room tent and went to set it up and my dumb ass didn't take into account the heating duct running across the ceiling. Both my areas where I have exhaust to the outside are not gonna work. The only place is in 8x8 room in the basement, which stays fairly cool. Now, I know I can exhaust the hot air from the tent into the room but, what about the passive intake. Is this gonna hurt me bringing that air back into the tent, will it be cooled off any before entering the tent again? Am I screwed?

Depends.
Does that 8x8 room have a door?

Just cut vents in the top and bottom of the door.

Thats it, just cut vents and i'll be ok? Should I run duct from my hood to the top of the door or will the air naturally go by its self?

Again, depends.
You haven't said how many Watts your tent light is.
For cfls the vents should be enough.
HPS? Probably have to duct it.
Fexible duct is cheap and easy. If you duct the heat out at the top, the bottom vent will draw in cooler air to replace it..
Heat rises.

Thanks for the info weezard, and yes I will be using 600 hps. Guess I'll get it set up and do some test runs.
