The streets of Denver look more like Baghdad roadblocks, checkpoints, swat patrols, and 3000 police on foot it's fucking nuts. There are people from all sides people for Obama,for McCain,for Hillary, then there is people against political prisoners, against Guantanamo, against the convention all together. Then there are the delagets, celebs, reporters, So so many people, they're everywhere, this is supposed to be good for me as a bartender, but they all tip like shit. Oh yeah I forgot to mention OPRAH is here:S3: I don't quite understand why Obama plays down his so called "celebrity status" and then has people like Oprah and Dave Matthews come to town, not to mention that he is even to good to speak at the Pepsi center, he would rather shut down an entire interstate (I25) causing major traffic problems in the area, all so he can speak to 75,000+ people.
