Hi,
Every year I got at least 3 hermies out of 30 plants total. Every year is getting worse. Looks like a very nice healthy female bud with up to quarter inch large balls. Is it possible that I am making mistakes about growing? I fertilize about 2 times a year, water only when is very dry soil, usually it is raining a lot. I remove male plants as soon as possible - check them every day. Is it natural that I got more than 10% of hermies? I know a lot of ganja growers, but no one has this problems.
Can anybody help me please?

Well this is a bummer, we will try to figure it out !
There is some stuff we need to know:
Are you growing from seeds or clones ?
What are the temps ?
Are you sure you don't have any little light leak during flowering ?
Give us all the information you have, you can also fill up the troubleshooting form in the growing area, with more info I'm sure we can help you out.

sounds like he is outside, there could a grow close to yours and you are getting pollenated by them?

Quarter inch balls sounds like a calyx with a seed inside- not a hermi.
I'm also going to go with stray pollen from another source, unless you see tiny yellow banana-lookin things, which are actual male hermi parts.

Hi,
Yes, I grow only outdoor and I'm always growing from seeds.
Temperatures were about 30 degrees, but now in the flowering stage was a lot of rain and temperatures about 20-25 degrees, at night about 15, maybe less.
Plants have a sunlight about 10 hours per day, they are planted about 2 feet away from each other - maybe I should give them more space when I'm planting..

Whoa. Those look like male parts, but the biggest ones I've ever seen.
Can you take one off the plant and slice it with a razor blade? If it's a seeded calyx you'll know fer certain. But if it's got a bunch of crumply soft stuff inside, that's a nasty herm, and you should be trying to manually remove them as much as you can.
Now say, "I've got big balls" in your best Bon Scott voice...

I'm certain that is not a male.. There is no seed in these balls, it's like you said - a bunch of crumply soft stuff.
It's too much of these balls to remove manually, I just harvested it, because I don't want to pollenate my females.

Okay, those were male parts growing on a female bud- you can see the pisitls(hairs) of course, and then ALSO balls, which means hermi.
Good call on removing it if you can't remove the balls. That will save you seeds down the road.

I got lost at alot of this....fertilize twice a year?? Maybe I read that wrong.
But anyway...is he growing the same strain over and over?

The other thing......sounds like his harsh conditions ("I only water when the earth cracks open") may contribute to his problem as well.

I don't remember I water them at all, because there was so much rain this summer, in fact too much rain.. Do you think the hermie would appear because of water?

Just a semi-noobs 2 pence, but are these seeds from last years plant of the same strain? doesn`t a hermie seed carry the possibility of being a hermie in its genes?
