Frustrated?

i dont want to sound like i am whining....but...
1. a few days ago, i was able to speak with a freind on her page, now i cant. This looked like just short messages posted under their profile specs.

2. I have tried three times today to change my avatar and no luck.

Did i miss something on the change the avatar instructions? and did i just imagine i left that friend a message? I actually thot we were having a conversation, now i dont see it at all.

oh...and i did hit "remember me" when i logged in. And i am not sure if i have posted fifty comments in threads, tho i was able to have a signature and avatar .....i just get so frustrated on this site.

thanks if anyone answers....i have figured out how to subscribe to threads at least.

not sure about the avitar but all messages are gone. I was all confused too. There are some posts around about it... you know the same ol' the few bad ruin it for all the good. such is life! :wtf:

As far as the messaging goes... yeah... people couldn't act like grown-ups and observe the site rules. I can't believe it made it 24 hours to be honest :jointsmile: I think there is room inside the normal public threads for people to somewhat "socialize." So no big loss :hippy:

And I can change my avatar just fine. Give it a bit. I'm sure the people maintaining the site are constantly adjusting things to make it work better. Non-crucial aspects may take a hit for a day or two while the big stuff gets tuned up. If you go a week without being able to change it... maaayybe you could ask a mod about it, but in reality... it's going to take a back seat most of the time.
If you call somewhere and get a busy signal 3 times in a day... does that mean the phone is off the hook over there? Or could it be that you called EXACTLY when they were unable to process your call :stoned: haha
