So I am planning a sealed room, 3K, co2 burner and a 24,500btu ac. 6x11' room. The lights are on their own cooling (air cooled hoods) system that isoltes them from the room. Otherwise there is no intake/exhaust. My question is where does the carbon filter come into play? I know the smell can leak thru the walls and whatnot, so what do i do with the filter?

you could just run it in the room. just like an air purifier. A fan sucking air from the room, blowing thru the filter back into the room.

You can do it like McDanger said.
Or you can make a pipe or duct that goes through the walls to where you vent your air, and insert a carbon filter in the duct with a fan on the end to suck the air through.
Or you can do both... have a duct with a filter and a filter just running in the room itself.
I would do both, because I would be scared as shit about someone smelling my grow. I guess that is why I just grow outside.

i think ima havta do what Mcdanger said. The hot air from my lights goes straight outside. But I have a positive pressure in the hoods so no smell can leak. And there is no exhaust in the room so thats my only option apparently. Thanks

Just make sure your filter is big enough and it should totally eliminate all the odor. 6X11 room will take a pretty big filter, and fan btw. Good luck
