pre-mployment test on monday help! help! help!

Hi guys,
im new to this board so not really sure if I needed to start a new thread since there are many others like this but ill post my qs here and I hope someone will reply:) . Im about 110 lbs, and 5'3" fast metablolism, exercise about 3 times a week and smoke about 2-4 puffs off a joint every other weekend. The last time I had about 2 puffs was last Sunday ..ie a week ago. I have a preemployement DT in 2 days (so that'll be 8 days since the time i last smoke). I did about 35 minutes of cardio in addition to my usual weight for 3 days since tuesday. I hurt my foot and couldnt do cardio yesterday (friday) and i dont plan to exercise these last two days. I have been getting alot of fiber, takign cranberry caps and drinking a lot of water. I plan on using dilution & taking vitamin B and creatin for today and tomorrow. What do you tihnk my chances are of passing...and is there anything else you think I can /should do to pass? I'm new to this city and dont really have anyone who can help me use the substitution method!

ANY USEFUL tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

Sounds like you got everything down so your chances seem pretty good. But one tip i can give you dont smoke until you get your results back. Cuz you'll be screwed for your next job. I made that mistake i smoked right after the test was over

The jello isn't going to help. It sounds like you've got everything down and with the dillution and the amount you've been smoking you'll probably do fine. You might pickup a test strip and check yourself to be sure.

hey thanks killerweed...I see that you and FBR have given out a lot of good tips to ppl here! I checked at the walmart here and they dont have any dt kits :( I bought some aspirin too...do you think I should take 4 of them the day b4 the test? So for dilution do you suggest I just drink a lot of water/gatorade a couple of hours b4 the test, take B complex tabs, and pee a couple of times b4 the test? Thanks a ton!

looks like the link i posted was removed...didnt realise i wasnt supposed to post commercial links sorry abot that. I just wanted confirmation on the steps for dilution tomorrow and whether the aspirin is really required either tonight or tomorrow morning because my stomach is pretty sensitive and Iv read that youre not supposed to take any Tums a few days prior to and on the day of the test? My test is tomorrow..so if someone who knows what theyre doing can just re-confirm this so i feel a lil less anxious that would be great! thanks in advance!

I would just take the aspirin the morning of the test. Drink about 30 ounces of gatorade before the UA. Pee 3 or 4 times and use your midstream urine.The B complex is for coloring your urine.
You might try a drug store for the home tests.

Thanks again killerweed. 2 aspirin or 4 ..any idea? Im guessing since im only 110 lbs 2 should suffice? I checked most drug stores here and they dont seem to carry DT kits:(

also does anyone know if the aspirin that comes with the stomach guard(im assuming it has an antacid as well) will work any different from just regular asprin? Thanks!

Its the aspirin in any form that interferes with the immnunassay test. I'm not totally sold on the idea evn though i've read a couple articles on it. I tried it myself and didn't seem to have any effect but I'm a heavy user.. For light smokers it might help.

wellll....i DIDNT have my test on Monday I dont know WHEN theyre going to do it ..probably within the next few days. I dont wanna ask when exactly itll be coz it'll probably look suspicious but she did say itll be sometime soon. My qs is this...given my toking history (infrequent,light etc - mentioned in my first post in this thread)..is 10-11 days usually enuf to get clean? Tomorrow will be 12 days since ive smoked...if the test is tomorrow what do you think my chances of giving a clean sample are? i know itsnot a precise science ..but just from experience, if u can give me your thoughts, thanks!

There is just no way to tell. There are a lot of variables. And some people are just blessed that they can be clean in 24 hours and then theres others that take 60 days or more. Thats why its a good idea to get some cheap thc test strips and check yourself. Then you can tell what type you are and smoke accordingly. Or just get synthetic urine and you don't have worry about when you smoked last.

hmm i understand...its just that i havent been able to find any place that sells DT kits of any kind in this city:( and theres no time forme to order any online! oh welll...i'll dilute for the test whenever it is and order the strips for reference anyway. is ebay the place u recommend?

I've found them there for about $1.30 each. Might be able to find someplace cheaper.

Unfortunately no time left for this time tho coz my test is on wednesday,. it will be 17 days since i smoked last ....im going to do the dilution method and hope i pass! ive read online that for a light smoker with a fast metabolism that should be enuf time to test clean...but i will buy the strips for future reference!Thanks again
