light question

hi wot sort of light would people keep clones and plants under before they can be put on the flowering stage i am using a 1000w h,I,D at the moment and would like 2 have that light for the flowering stage and i have read up a few thing but am still curious i am thinking about cfls any info would be nice thanx:)

cfl's will work fine. The size of your space will dictate how many you will need.
You will want the 6500k or daylight bulbs for veg if you are getting them from a big box store(Lowes, walmart)
