hi there im wanting to grow but i think my space is to small for what i want to do im wanting to flower in a 2.5'x2.8'x3.5' and the 3.5 is the hight i want to use floresants but dont know what type to get and haw many plants could i get in the space if i do SOG.

You can do exactly what I am doing (attached design) that is my design of what I did. It's 23" tall, 22" wide, 11 1/2" deep. You can probably tweek the design for your demenstions.

hi thanks mate. thats just wot i was thinking of but insted of 2 lights i was going to use a 4xshop fitting and run one of the follewing t5.t6.t8.t12.but i dont know wots best for the space. at the mo im runing 1x200w cfl grow light but its way to big and fat for the new space. i will show picks wen i find out how

Oh, ok. I just stumbled across a site that sells LED fluoro replacement tubes, they looked pretty cool, so I thought I'd mention them. They deffinately look like they're extremely bright, they use 60-70% less energy than fluoros, and they last 50,000 hrs. I'm thinking about buying me some :).

yes i sow leds on the net and i thought about 4x56w led bords but they are way out my price range at the mo

and i still dont know how many plant i can fit in the space
what pots or shall i put them all in one large tray

should i use nuttes

Ok sounds cool but I wanna see the output of 10 of these lights in a row side by side.

cuz if 10 of these kind of led lights ended up having just as high of a light output as my 7 23 watt and 1 100 watt cfl lights have.
then I'd probly get em.
my cfl lights R bright than a mofo.:D and my temps R 77-80 all the time in the flowering box.
so I like em for now.

and I do wish U great luck on ur grow.:thumbsup:
and ur gunna need a fan to help get the plant nice and strong and to also help lower high heat in the box or room or closet.

dude...it all depends on how small you keep your plants...if you start them growing 12/12 from seed they're going to stay small, you just have to watch them and prune them if they get too tall

im not doing seed cause i allways end up with she-males!!!!lol . so i only use cuttings i will be using jack herer. i have to order them thats why im asking how many i can fit there to expensive to test how hight to grow them

Depends on how many pots you can fit in there. I would recomend nine (9) square pots that measure 10" x 10". This would make optimal use of your space.

thanks drsuess. that is what i was thinking but could i use smaler pots if i use nuttes

iv been doing research on lighting and my mate said that my 200w cfl grow light gives off mor light than a 4x fluoro tube light. and that my light can penatrate up to 10" and the tubes only 4" is this true or do i tell him hes talking crap. i think hes full off crap my self so can any 1 help im getting confused like mad.
