my sister is 12 years old, in 7th grade, and she asks me every day and night to try smoking weed..i was wondering...maybe i can let her try it once, so she will shut up and since its her 1st time she wont get high and maybe she wont ever smoke and be a straight citizen, the 1st ever in my family...
what do you think

I think it's too young. But I dunno how you'd tell her, cause if you tell her it's for more grown folk she'll definately try it. And some scumbag guy might take advantage of the fact she wants to try it. Has she tried smoking anything before? cigs?
It's a tough dilema for ya, if she's interested in experimenting somewhere along the line she will. And since you have fun doing it, it just makes her think it'll make her more grown. Wish you the best on dealing with it though.

tell her wait till shes 13 then smoke her up, but dont let her do it that much and make sure your the only source of weed for her (so u can regulate how much she can get)

Tell her to shut the fuck up and focus on her school. Then when shes older she can blaze all she wants

Let her do it, but give her a joint for her first time. She'll cough her ass off and not get high, and she won't want to try it again.
That's what I would do, but I don't always give the best advice.

I dont think that will work...If she wants to smoke let her smoke and let her decide for herself if she likes it or not..Just remind her whats important and to not let it take over her life and school work...And make sure she dont get caught up becasue then you get blamed.
Let her try it if she really wants to try it. I mean, at least you'll be there to regulate for her ya know. It's better then her bein with a bunch of punk kids tryin to get her high and, yea........ Do what you think is right though man.

Hmmm 12, i'mma say yeah let her try it. Once. Might as well
I can only relate to my own sister; 2 years younger, somewhat smarter than I am (and was). Back before I care to say, my band was rehersing, she was in the building, and I accidently happened to intrude on her while she was smoking a joint, listening to the band, stripped down to her knickers. The event gave me a bit of a jolt, and afterward I went to lengths to not smoke around her, not talk about it much except to say I'd lost interest, and especially not encourage her to hang out with the guys in the band. Was I over protective? I don't think so. A lot of years have passed, and the little Rhodes scholar has done pretty good for herself. She never really got into extreme behavior, and always ridiculed me for being too over the top. I always felt a sense of relief that out of all the bad habits I've picked up, not too many of them seemed to have encouraged her to try the same. I think that getting stoned at 12 is just too soon.
As if it wasn't obvious, your sister isn't some fleabag bimbo you will drift away from in a few weeks; she'll be there for the rest of your life (if you're lucky). It doesn't sound like a good idea to get her started with anything that might do her harm, no matter how much some people, including yourself, can handle it OK.
Just my opinion.

i remember the first time i smoked with my sister. i think she was in her freshman year. all i know was that we ended up leaving the house every night the parents were asleep to go and smoke. it got pretty bad. i think maybe 12 is too young, but i guess i'm not the one that is listening to her ask.

If shes wants to smoke she will one way or another. Just make up some bullshit story if need be till shes old enough but if worse comes to worse and she doesnt stop hassling you about it make a deal with her so that she only smokes like once a month b4 she gets any weed. I know this may sound bad but its better she smokes in a controlled environment than if she was to go into public and smoke

Haha @ herb. Damn man, let her knowledge develop a bit first before she starts fuckin with her memory and shit. I'd say 7th grade is a bit too young. Just smoke a joint with her and educate her on it when she's out of 8th grade. Just my suggestion. Late.
