So I've got a few girls. A couple of them that were planted in early March are almost done, and it's just Aug 20. Is this possible? Any outdoor growers ever pulled in late Aug? And secondly, I have a couple that were planted in Mid April, and they still have'nt shown sex. Is this unusual, considering it's only a week or so from Sep?

It's all a matter of strain and the light hitting the plant. One of my buddies up in central Vermont already took down some plants! I was like, hey no shit! But you'll see that with some lines. As for the late ones, that's also normal in some strains- BUT if you are growing a plant inappropriate for your climate, like one that is slow to show and slow to finish, you might have a problem when you run up against the frost. What are the strains?

What are the strains?I'm in Ga. The temps are still in the 90's. And we wont see frost until Nov. The ones that have'nt shown sex are tall and skinny. 6ft tall. Only a ft wide. Must be some kind of sativa. Dont they take a little longer? I'll prolly leve em out till sometime in Nov, if that's the case. I should have a few ready in Sept, a few in oct. and a few in Nov.

Okay, that makes a lot more sense. You are lucky to hae such a late frost date! We can't grow Sats up here :(
Give them as much time as they need to ripen fully, but if you have late season rains, watch for mold and take them down if you see it becoming a problem.
