Hi.
I managed do damage one of my plants yesterday 2 weeks into 12/12.
Stem snapped about 8 inches from the top of a 45inch plant.

Inside in the direction it fell has damage but outside and sides seems ok. It wont hold the topp up on its own now si I stringed it up. During lights off it has grown as usual but it still need the string to keep upright.
Will it mend you think? Or will I need to string it up for the remaining 6-7 weeks?

Man I hate it when that happens!!!

Personally, I would throw a splint on it and continue flowering.

Good Luck

Ye I am not killing it ofc. :P
Natrually I will keep it going but what can I expect? Any chance of it regaining strength enough to bare the, hopefully huge, load to come on its own?
In short can stemdamage like this mend effectivelly?

I broke a main Y branch when a lamp fell on itand bound it together and that was about ......... a week ago I wanna say.

No visible signs of stress other than some slow growth. It's doing amazing right now actually.

Hope your plant is ok.

This smokes for you !

I have had this happen a few times in the past and rigged up whatever i could find to keep it standin up strait one time I even used black tape around the stem to fix it and they usually did alright not quite their full potential but better than cutting it off

Hah I was so desperate I bound it with string, taped it together and put honey in the middle to try to use it as a natural healing/joint compound it worked ok. If you enjoy a shit load of fruit flies...........

haha scared the shit out of me though. Never really wilted too much or showed signs of stress. I was kinda shocked. But Swamp Thing has endured much pain my learning process :buzz_saw:

good luck

I stringed it in the direction I wanted it to grow and waited. 3 days later it healed and is strong. :)
Now I did the same to my other stretchy plant with same result and a much more even canopy as a result.

Learning learning. It was very scary though when it happened.
