I'm writing to ask for some answers from experienced growers only.
Can someone please clarify the need for upping nutrients when using CO2? I've read someone here mention that they double their nutrients when using C02.
The nutes that will be used are the entire fox farm line including the 3 liquid ferts (grow big, etc) and 3 powder additives (sesame, etc).
Experienced experts only please. Thanks.

i wouldnt up your nutrients just cause your using cO2 i use cO2 in the bottle under 10 psi.... but dont get me wrong when using cO2 your tds/PPM will raise like 300 so u have to add that to your nutrients somtimes u wanna feed less when using cO2 but in some cases your buds are breathin the cO2 and r using there energy ( nutrients faster) so its case by case... but if your ppm's are like 1500 n your cO2 is on now your at 1800 ppm which is dangerously high so i would play by ear

BAP. Dude. WTF. Your regulator PSI has VERY little to do with your nute needs. Your PPM in the ROOM determines them- PARTIALLY. If you have a leaky room or a big exhaust or a lot of space, you can empty a whole fucking cylinder in there and it will jsut go out the window and you might as well leave your nutes the same lol.
In ALL cases your buds are 'breathing faster'. That's the point of CO2. You have to make sure you have enough light, food, and water to keep up with it, and you can also increase your temps slightly- running around 85'D/75'N is fine.
When you set up your system, calculate your room volume and how fast you need to leak CO2 to keep it at the ppm you desire- 1100 is a number you see tossed about often. Whatever you choose, get it stable, and start working your nutes and temps up gradually until you see signs of stress or burn, and then back off about 10%. Record those figures. Every strain is different, so be flexible.

Can you please PM me, it's important. Thanks again!

Is a room exhaust fan timed to work with the co2 or is the room completely sealed and an air conditioner/heater control the ambient temperature?

The amount of CO2 in the open air is approximately 0.03 to 0.04%. The amount of carbon dioxide is also expressed in parts per million; ppm. 0.03% is equal to 300 ppm. There are differences in the CO2 needs among plants. By raising the CO2 content, growth can be accelerated. The law of diminished returns still holds true, however. Raising the CO2 level has limits, but at approximately 1400 ppm (0.14%), good results (a faster growth) are generally achieved. Above 1400 ppm, the effect of a higher percentage of CO2 decreases. A high concentration of CO2 is poisonous even for plants. A CO2 concentration of 1800 ppm or more is deadly for most plants.

Can you give me specifics on how to time the exhaust? Sealed room, no air conditioner or heater as temperature is pretty consistent, only exhausting hot air out

Why don't you read it from the source in which it was originally published, instead of having this dude front like he wrote it himself:

I'm really starting to dislike him [*cough* YOU] now... get lost. Coming on here spouting off a bunch of bs in totally incoherent language, then stealing other peoples' work and posting it as your own, then making TWO new usernames to agree with yourself?
Get a life. Elsewhere, please.
