root rot...

if you have root rot, could it, or would it, effect the smell and taste of the bud?
and also what could you do to help it not do that to the bud?
im in the fifth week of 12/12 and im gona start flushing.
what could i use with my flush to help the problem?

sorry for not posting this in the first post...
im growing in a top feed system with hydroton rock im at 600 ppm and 5.8 ph
temp around 77 deg and hum. about 45 to 50.
i case your wondering how i got root rot i veged to long and didnt chang pot size from 6 inch.
also im useing gh nutes.

well u get root rot from over feeding..... you roots can only take up so much nut's when it cant take anymore up it just stays there then u feed more n more pretty soon u get ROOT LOCK... so your roots lock up n dont feed... then they ROT..... u can use flora clean it is a general hydro prduct run for 3 days then 25% nut strenght.... n u shouldnt start final flush till week 7...
