View Full Version : Is cannabis keeping my eczema under control?
Hi,
First a little about my cannabis background; For the past year or so I have been smoking cannabis and in the last couple of months on a daily basis.
Now my medical background; I am allergic to dust mites and have mild eczema that appears on my arms, my eye lids dry up and I get dark circles under my eyes. Not really a bad medical condition but it can get irritating especially in the dry seasons of the year.
Recently my dealer has gone dry and for the last 2 days I have been smoke free.
Those two days that I didn't smoke I noticed that bags under my eyes have appeared and I've become very itchy. I also realized that during the last few months while I've been smoking that i have had no allergic reactions and my eczema was non-existent.
Now for my question: In your opinion do you think that the cannabis was keeping my eczema under control? or am I just delusional.

seems like I've heard eczema is connected to the nervous system, somehow (I'm not a Doctor, I only pretend to be one, while stoned ) ... if so, it seems reasonable it may help ... Suggestion: cook your leftover pot into olive oil, and try rubbing that into your skin ... then you should know

Hey IR,
"Now for my question: In your opinion do you think that the cannabis was keeping my eczema under control? or am I just delusional."
Why can't it be both?;)
Good luck on the extended road trip, brah.
Lived in a converted van for a year, loved it.
Bon voyage!

Sorry 'bout dat. Brah.
Got lost.
Thought I was on IR's thread.
And it was a little flip, and not very helpful.
Apologies brother.
So, I'm no doctor, but I am OLD.
I have noticed, just by paying attention for a long time, that eyebags, (apnea induced or not),
Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Eczema, Asthma, ect., ad nauseum all "come and go", good days, bad days.
That's why so much money gets wasted on snake oil.
Everything "cures" these conditions.
For a while!:D
However, if you really believe that something will cure you...
Well the human mind is still unfathomed.
God bless and I hope so.
The eyebags might have more to do with sleep pattern disruption potentiated by not smoking for a while.
I can tell you that Breathrite nasal strips might help for dark circles under the eyes.
For bags?
Preparation H!
Seriously, just keep it outta your eyes,
Jus' rub it on da "eye-roids":)
Aloha,

I FEEL your pain. I too have a skin disease and alot of the same simtoms that you talked about. I think that it definatly helps. I too get those problems when I'm not medicating. Even my zyrtec doesn't work as good as medical marijuana. I think you need to find some more herb.
