Hey all.

I know those red and blue 225 LED panels are absolute garbage (i bought 4 when they first came out...what a dope!) I quickly replaced them with 2 400w HPS.

I'm about to tear down and redesign my entire grow room and i was wondering if anyone thought they'd be decent enough to hang over my clone tents? I always hear people saying "clones just need a little light", some do 24/7 on their clones...some don't even use lights on their clones for a while.

so...what do you think? should i dust em off and let them kiss my clones?

I'm trying to keep my space as compact as possible and a 2' x 2' x 18" clone area would be PERFECT.

thanks.

Aloha Skeet,

Far as I know, they won't hurt.:D

I had no luck with 1 of them for a small vegging.
Four, with a reflective tent, might do some good.

I do have one reservation.
Had to open mine for repairs and, well, let's just say they are not UL listed.
I'd either plug them into a power strip wth a circuit breaker, or not leave them unattended.
If, you have extra clones, and you're willing to try half with the "China panels" and half with a CFL?
I'd say, try it and let us know, please.:)

Haha. not UL listed. I hear that. I only used them for 4 weeks and i had to repair 2 of them. If i do use them i will be sure to have them on a breaker.
I'll let you know how it goes.

thanks.
