hey everybody! I just found this site but I'm a long-time toker. I recently moved from Upstate New York to Southwest Michigan.(bad move for the green scene, i know). I'm near South Bend, IN and looking for like-minded folks. I'm always open to new friends and would love to meet some local smokers so hop over to my profile and tell me what you think.

...and i read a thread about medical marijuana possibly coming to michigan...anyone know if this is this true?! I'd be so happy!!

Thanks illnillinois. but It was written with the intention of humor, not to be demeaning in any way. fresh meat=noob. I'm nobody's piece of meat. i can see i missed the mark with at least 1 reader. Eh, it's all good, can't expect everyone to realize my sarcastically humorous personality from my first post can I? :jointsmile:

My sense of humor is a bit off beat, too! Watch out for the boys around here! They are always on the prowl for that rarest of all women- the "stoner GF"! lol Don't forget to check out the stickies at the top of each forum- good reads!

Welcome! I used to live in valporaso IN thats kinda close! The only time I ever went to south bend i got to go kayak down that river there. It was tight I suggest you check it out if you havent already. I think the only time they dont do it is winter but i could be really wrong there. Sorry thats about all the help i can give. No more ties to the mid west :(

South Bend is a kick ass city too. Gonna be up there in a few weeks for Umphrey's McGee . I'd like to think you've heard of them seeing as South Bend is where it all started for them.

Welcome to Cann.com and welcome to lame southwest michigan. New Buffalo has the Casino and South Bend has the Notre Dame crowd so there are a few things to do...

Welcome Sweetstoner, from another 'Ms' on the forum. I'm from the Southland's in TX, and don't have the growing issues you folks have up where water freezes out side.

There's a ton of very useful information on the many forum pages. If I have any advice to give anyone, it's - be cautious, and be safe
