Have you ever done this?

Some people believe our lives are profoundly influenced by whatever pop song was #1 on the day we were born.

On the day Heather Mills (the ex Mrs McCartney) was born (12th Jan 1968) it was Hello Goodbye by The Beatles!

My number #1's are:
'You're So Vain' by Carly Simon in the US
'Long Haired Lover From Liverpool' by Little Jimmy Osmond in the UK
'Ben' by Michael Jackson in Australia

See which songs you get

well I wasn't able to find mine...

Also just a friendly concern, is this is allowed to be a thread? If it falls into a social thread won't it will mostly likly be deleted or closed?... Im not 100% sure on that because well Im not a mod, and Im fairly new compared to some of the other members like yourself, but I was just wondering, maybe you didn't realize that it could be concidered social because you made it? I know I've done that:)

Anyways , just thought Id get that out, and sorry if in any way me questioning made you upset or offended it wasn't my intention, But it was a nice find on the net, Ill be checking it out again later to make sure I wasn't mistaken.

I've found no relation between the song that was #1 when I was born and things I've done in my life...

Perhaps this could be moved to the music section in the hobby lounge...

(Ill tell you a secret... not ALL social threads are deleted... if you were cunning and disguise enoughly a social thread, it is left without being deleted... ;) )

Yes, it worked for me! The song that was No. 1 when I was born was How Much is that Doggie in the Window, by Patti Paige. I met my wife for the first time in front of a dog store with puppies in the window. In fact we live near the same place and frequently look at the puppies.
Her is is in all it's full waltz time glory. Check out the swinging ending!
