Just to help :
1lb = 16 ounces = 454 grams
1 ounce = 28 grams (approx. )
1/2 ounce = 14 grams
1/4 ounce = 7 grams
1/8 ounce = 3.5 grams
to find out pricing per grams:
~price (divide) grams
ex: 2 grams at $40, $40 (divided by) 2g = 20 $/g

I tried to edit my previous post to add what i forgot but apparently I was over my time limit , anyways ..continued:
To figure out pricing when you know the price per gram:
~price (multiply) grams
ex: 3.5 grams at your $20 a gram price, 3.5g (multiplied by) 20 $/g = $70
thus, 3.5 g would cost you $70 at that set price
** But do note that im not totally sure about prices but I don't think theres usually a set price per grams that increases in equal intervals, You might save money if you buy in bulk... for example $35 for 1/8oz will have you paying 10 $/g while say $200 for 1 oz will have you paying approx. 7 $/g**

Wow, im really not sure what you were trying to say.. It really depends on where you go, and the quality that you want. Grams are usually $20, 1/8s run $45-$70, and ounces are usually between $250 and $450.

well dude normally with dellers they dont just add up what a gram costs x3. what they normally do is give you like an eighth for the price of 3 grams not 3.5grams. so prolly $60 instead of $75. some may sell cheaper but they usually take a few dollars off the price when you want like an eighth, quarter, half, or ounce. like i sell my stuff for an ounce $350. selling it for 20 dollars a gram and then 28 grams in one ounce so the total straight up would be $560 for 1 ounce. but they save 210. thats normally how it normally works. i would ask for the price of an eighth ahead, do the math, then consult with they man about buying.
like stores usually do its better to buy in the bulk
