someones a walmart shopper!
laughs, i bought the same stuff. I followed the dose for flowering plants. 4 table spoons per gallon.
My baby didn't do well.. But i was also mixing it with some super concentrate, so i dont know which to blame.. i started with good ol' water again and she perked up..
ill wait to read what others have to say as well..

Rule number one on nutes. Always start small and work your way up. I use 1 tbsp per gallon of water once a week in veg cycle. Never in flower unless its an out door plant.

not just walmart but most garden stores carry this. cheap and organic and it works.
there really is no recommended dose because every strain takes different strengths of nutrients. start weak(1/4 or 1/2 stregnth maybe 1 teaspoon per gallon) and next week give give 1tablespoon and work your way up to a comfortable level for the plants.

Hi,
I used it once and had problems with nute lock out and fungus gnats which seem to love this stuff. Like Killerweed said go lite and work your way up.

Don't use the high-N fish products in flowering, especially indoors. OUtdoors, I actually woudn't use fish slop anyway unless the area was fenced, because of the curiosity of animals.

sounds like you did good if your plants are comfortable. keep up the feeding like that, but i would generally start out at 1 teaspoon per gallon with this stuff, but 1 tablespoon did fine for you. the plant could be a heavier feeder though.

I never made it up too 2tbls I think I just feed twice a week instead.
I have another question about ferts lots of people are saying no veg ferts in flowering cycle ? they do not say why! also I have looked at other feed schedule's (GH) (ADV) (FF) and they run all 3 ferts for whole cycle of plants.
starting with a higher dose of veg ferts (example 3-2-1 veg) and shifting too higher dose of bloom ferts(example 1-2-3 bloom) @ flower time with a lower veg fert? so what gives !!! I think you have to give all 3 ferts but almost everyone on this site says no veg ferts. grrrrrrr WTF:wtf:

the cheapstuff
Jiffy peat pellets for seedlings(remove bag netting)/Alaska fish emulsion fert(veg)12$ gal/ earthjuice microblast 10$ quart(micros)/Alaska MorBloom fert(flowering)12$ gal/ and FoxFarm/OceanForest soil 13$/ Perlite big bag 17$/liquid ph tester $7/ph up Mad farmer 11$/ph down Mad farmer 11$/measuring spoons $7/ containers I got on the cheap used at local nursery scrub and bleach them out good.I also keep a bleach water solution around for sanitizing (rags) the grow area and hands. think thats about it. oh yea I forgot lights, well i purchased and built 2 T5 4bulb fixtures, and know wish I would've just bought a High Pressure sodium Light instead as after my light purchase I found out that HPS works for both veg and flower! now I don't have good flower light a real bummer for me as i have to live on only $300 a month it took me a year to buy this stuff to be able to grow,so do yourself a big favor and get HPS light! good luck ;)

but every here has been saying no veg ferts in bloom cycle?

Cannabis is from the Order of Rosales. Which means it is part of the rose family. Follow directions for roses and you'll do great.

A couple of reasons I can think of...
1) The mix is not for cannabis specific uses, but more for general gardening use.
2) The ratio's have the flexibility for change as the plant's needs change. (different ratios as plant matures, and get's ready for the flowering stage)
3) Outdoor uses vs. indoor uses.
If you have a look at the Fox Farms feeding schedule for soil, (the link is in my signature) you'll see that after a couple of weeks into flower, it's recommended you add Grow Big. (the vegetative fert) This helps eliminate the dusky-green from restricted nitrogen, promoting better photosynthesis and such. Best done early in flower, like the schedule says.

how about to sell more veg fert too, think about it, if you veg for 2 months, then flower for 2 months, your using quite alot more veg fert :P

Veggii,
I hope your still using your fish ferts, its some of the best organic stuff on the market.
Try this receipe:
1tsp Fish Emulsion 5-1-1
1sp Molasses (unsulphured)
1 cup Earthworm castings (EWC)
1 gallon h20 (dechlorinate)
Bubble EWC, h20, and molasses in a bucket for a day or two add fish before feeding, if you don't have a air pump, use two buckets and pour a couple times back and forth for 2 days then add fish.
Nitrogen is used all through veg but can be used in the first 2 weeks of flowering during the "stretch". End all nitrogen feeding after that.
