Exhaust systems?

How do people normally set up their exhaust fans when they have a separate vegging room? Do they use 2 separate can-filters and 2 separate inline fans?

Also What about if you are using air cooled lighting, do you use a third fan or combine ducting?

I'm looking for experienced knowledgeable answers only please, thanks!

Don't need a filter for vegging. They smell very little.
