Damn it feels like forever......well heres the start of another grow log i started 6 days ago.

I germinated 2 CH9 mixed females on tueday..... One cracked on Weds and sproated on thursday, and the other one cracked today while at work! (At least i know my germinating method works...other than the Critically smashed seeds which are about to find the trash can)

I will be growing using Hempy Buckets again.....i will just use the coffee containers again... I will be also using the whole Fox Farm Hydro Formula(Grow Big Hydro, Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom, Open Seseme, Cha Ching, and Bestie Budz).

I will use 4 parts perlite to 1 part vermiculite, as a growing medium.

my next indoor run I will be using 3 parts perlite, 1 part coco. gotta love the results hempy buckets get :jointsmile:

CH9 is a breeder which i assume is in N. America(california)....He produces only female seeds.....he uses female pollen from 5 plants to create his female seeds(his test grows show his cubing the pollen removes the tendency for female seeds to hermi).....I read about them on HG420(Mendocino(ch9 owner) has a help desk there for his seeds)....The guy is ultra cool.....always answers questions with in a day....no better person to get advice from than the breeder himself

The seeds were cheap $60 for a ten pack of female seeds....I bought four packs...His green bud(a reworked female of ed rosenthal super bud), a mixed pack of females, jacks, and citral skunk. Check his gear out.....ive only read absolutly fantastic stuff about his gear!

Yeah i love hempy buckets......i dont think ill ever try something different....my bestfriend is running hempy's vs his drip rings and the hempys are murdering the drip buckets!

Well another week has past and the plants look fine. Ive been blasting them with nutes since the second day after they sproated (ive never hit them this young with nutes, the smaller plant has been getting nutes before she even shed her shell). I ran the ppm's around 550 on a .5 meter for the first week.....im gonna bum it up a litlle tomorrow....somewhere between 800-900.

Heres some pics from then....they are 10 days from seed now and they look like different plants...ill post those pics on monday which will be day 14 of Veg.

killa12345, looks like your plants are doing mighty fine. It looks like your hempy buckets and nute schedule are working well. I will have to do some research on CH9, as he sounds like an interesting seedster. Good luck with these ladies, and I look forward to seeing them go up in smoke!

Thanx Jakezking...CH9 is swesome.....he seems to always be lerking in my grows over at hg420...

Well its almost another week......Due to the fact my job is now killing me slowly i will only be able to update on the weekends....the reason for the odd update day...I will just go by veg days from now on.....Today is day 14 from seed....Day 13 of being feed veg nutes.

Like i said the new promotion is absolutely killing me....10-13 hr days...which is causing me more problems in my grows...other than the temps reaching close to 116F outside last week. I guess i didnt do my normal ph checks on my nutes which caused some problems this week.....I took my initial check for granted and was running my Hempy Buckets at a PH of 6.6-6.8......not a good idea.....i caught the problem after 5 days.....i ed the buckets yesterday with a new nute solution with a ph of 5.8.....It might be the reason the plants look a tad droopy...

Seems like the plants are eating all the nutes though.....i have no sights of nute burn on any leafs.....tomorrow which will be day 14 of veg will get a new week of nutes running about the same 800-900 ppm. /.5 conversion.

Thanx tokr2153.....i love hempy's.....if you make mistakes.....you can fix them in days.....instead of weeks with soil....i dont think ill try another method for a long time!

Well the plants are still growing very well, but im having a few minor problems which im having a little concern....

First....Both plants like the nutes at different levels(which i really dont have time with my new promotion).....The more indica looking plant likes it ph around 6.0-6.2....she really doesnt like the high ppms either.....kinda picky....i lowered the ppm to around 800 and everything seems fine with her for now....but my other one is gettin huge....many shoot....great growth....but she like her ppms high and her ph low(5.8-6.0).....

Second....i let my larger one i think hit the lights or got nute splash or something....i dont know it really dont look like nute burn....because its really not getting worse and all the tips look ok....its only on the top two sets of leafs.....

Other than that they look good.....the large one is going to be a bush....I can already clone her....she is starting to preflower...the smell is very skunky.....im definitly taking clones im just waiting for about 6 more days before she gets a little pruning......The more indica looking plants....doesnt really have many side shoots....the growth is definitly behind the other one....ill probably only take a cut or two from her before flowering...10 more days and then ill flip them....Ill have a picture update on sunday which will be day 20 of Veg.

Well its another week...im experiencing a few problems nothing im really too concerned about....

On Friday i will take clones....i havent decided how many to take but im thinking about 6 off the large plant, 2-4 off the small plant.....I will flip these plants in 7 days.....Tomorrow they will get another new batch of new nutes with some open seseme...i plant to run it a little weaker than normal....right around 1000-1050 ppm/.5 conv. ..... I follow the Fox farm nute schedule to a t except i dont repeat weeks that are the same in the schedule like weeks 2 & 3.

Thank Chong...i was starting to feel like i was unwelcome here!

I really wanted to wait but the bigger plant keeps touching the lights....this is like the 3rd time.....i should of known yesterday but i was lazy....came home to a plant with a few burnt leafs.....shouldnt matter.....

Well i took clones today....today is veg day 23 and 24 days from seed.....i took 8 clones.....3 off the smaller plant, 5 off the larger plant......Also i had to tie down the larger plant its just growing larger everyday....

Im going to flip them tomorrow...i know its early, but im running out of room fast!

Thanks again chong.....yeah the trunk at the bottom i would say is very close if not an inch thick. I would have to thank fox farm for that.....

Dang hempy buckets are rockin' right along there, killa! There is no doubt those contraptions have an effect on growth. My poolside ladies are about the same age as yours. I don't know their lineage, but being commercial I would expect pretty quick growth. My ladies may be a bit taller, but nowhere near as bushy. Your ladies are stocky as hell, reminiscent of the female East German swim teams.

I'm glad to see your ladies are healthy, and it looks like they will produce quite a few bud sites and surely some serious buds! Congratulations on your promotion - remember to enjoy life though! Work can sometimes intrude a bit more than it should, taking a strain on our minds, bodies, and souls. I hope you've got some concentrated downtime. Take good care of yourself, dude!

Thanks Jakezking.....Yeah work is slowely killing me, but i think its a better time to put in the work while my son is real young.....Hey, i knew 7 yrs of college would prepare me for something....

The plants are doing fine......the problems seemed to have stopped.....I finally realize the food wasnt the biggest problem, but the plants were just to close to the lights and sometimes when they reached in the morning.....they probably hit the lights and often.....

For the first day of bloom i didnt change the lights or the nute formula(damn job!).....All is good now!...I changed the lights yesterday, and the nutes schedule, and the plants straighten right out.....seems like the little one doesnt like Nitrogen at all!

The plants look the best since theyve hatched.....i think i got the nutes finally dialed in with this grow....only time will tell.....

Ive continued to tie down the large plant, and removed some of the burnt leaves; just to make sure the problem wasnt spreading which it hasnt!......After the clones root(which i think has already started...im seeing a little new growth at the tops of all the clones).....i plan to flower them immediately(Hempy 32oz cups/sea of green)....At that time i will remove the smaller plant from the rubbermaid box and flower it with the clones(in my clone box). The clones are 4 days from being cut!

Well another week has passsed....and i sorta have bad news......i gave away the smaller plant.....the big plant really needed the room......so i did what had to be done......and its a shame......i really took a close look at her last night and the complete top was turning purple......i still have her clones though.....

Now on to the good news.....the large plant has hairs all over......everywhere the is a shoot...i have about 2-6 whites hairs in every position....I keep tying her down and she seems to reacting good to it.....Heres some pics of the plant today right after her feeding.

The clones are doing well....not quite ready to be removed from the dome.....everyday i give them about 2 hours out of the dome....and they seem to be reacting well to the reduced humidity....also i gave a few of the clones a gentle tug to see if they are rooted....and all of them seemed well planted...so i expect to see roots coming out of the jiffy pellets soon.

I make cuts with a normal cheap sissor which i bought at Wal Mart......I dip the cuts in Olivia Cloning Gel.....i soak the jiffy pellets in half strenght Fox Farm Nutes which the feeding schedule comes from their web site.(mixture for clones and seeds).....i spray them once or twice a day with 7.0 phed water....and i leave the dome off each day starting on day 3, and i start by removing the dome for about 20 min on day 3 then hopefully 1-2 hrs by day 7 and by day 10-11 usually they will be able to deal with the reduced humidity and no dome. I can usually see roots on day 7-9.

Went to go check on the clone and i can see some roots coming out of 3 jiffy pellets.....one clone is not looking to well. but it still early and i think she is just using all her enery to produce roots.....ill post pics tomorrow...but here a pic of my other project with a buddy of mine...OG Black haze...the only problem is they are 22 days into bloom and no buds just preflowers:

Looking really good man. I transfered my suffering beat up plants into hempy buckets about 2 weeks ago and they have exploded! I'm just using the Lucas Formula for nutes and it is almost too easy. I'm going through so much water now, those are some thirsty little ladies. Hempy buckets FTW!

I feel you chong.....im running the lucas formula on my haze project and they love it....not a burnt leaf on 12 plants.....and for the hempy buckets....i cant even begin to thank that man for figuring out these simple little buckets.....i mix my nutes for 2 weeks of feeding.....and the plants seem to grow themselves....just add water, nutes, and lights...cough.....maybe a little ph up here and there.....one again thanks for stopping in...come by any time...

Well all the clones have made it and they are all out of the dome....i planted them all in 32 oz gatorade hempy bottles...Out of the 8....im gonna give my friend 2 clones of both strains to make into mothers....I plan to flower the rest of them during the weekend.....i just got to light proof the clone box or i would of flipped them yesterday....ill post pics tonight!

I know I keep commenting on the grand effects of those hempy buckets, but they are amazing; Hempy had a helluvan idea there! One day I will have the courage to give them a whirl to witness firsthand their awesome effects.

Thanks Jakezking......im telling u....Hempy Buckets take no effort or courage.....they practically grow themselves......The Haze pics i posted......Those are in 10 liter Mop Hempy Buckets....and the clones are in 32 oz gatorade Hempy Buckets.....man the buckets can be made out of anything sealed.....the medium is uber cheap at Home Depot.....maybe $23 total for 8 cu ft. of growing medium.....Man u gotta give it a try...it like peer pressure but back to the update....

Well not much has changed......The plants are just growing right along....I have to tie her down daily.....i mean daily...at least 3 shoots....this plant is like 4-5 ft.....but tied down to 3 ft...gotta love LSTing.....I going to change the nutes again...this time im adding beastie bloomz......not much to say other than im giving my friend that im growing the haze with 2 clones to make mothers for future grows(both strains in the pics)....Im going to flower the clones on Sunday.....I guess heres some pics:

I thought that was you Dooobster....but i looked at the pics and i thought the dooobster i know grows in hempy buckets....but thanks bro......you see the black haze i was talking about(the offer still stands).....they are going to put out some major bud using hempy mop buckets(maybe 8-10 lbs in this room/maybe another 10-12lb. in the other room because we just added another row of plants in drip rings using the lucas formula).........They just wont flower using the lucas formula....the other room using the AN sensi.....the plants are just blowing up!

The CH9 beans are going good....they dont stink at all.....only in the room they are in......not like the WS which stunk the whole house up!

But its nice to see you hear......im sure people will benefit from your knowledge.....how the grows going? the purple wreck? the WW should be done by now? right?

Hahaha yeah, that plant was the last soil one I grew before I started the hempy's. It ended up being male, but I had to keep a few pics of it because it blew the HELL up. hahaha

My PW & my WW are both in jars... Chopped 'em down 10 days or so ago.
I don't have anything growing right now. :) I'm just enjoying the fruits of this harvest.

Well its been another week all seems good.....The large plant is starting to smell like fresh carnations.....very weird but pleasent......The clones are all starting to preflower...they all look very good....the strains seem super easy to clone....thanks ch9 for building that into the strains also.....not much bud formation but its early.....Im really looking forward to this crop....everything seems dialed in the buds on the big plant are starting to bulk up with the bestie bloomz and cha ching ive been feeding them. Other than that i figure i got at least 40 days on the big plants...and im not even going to start counting on the clones till they get bigger....

i personally had to look up info about these 'hempy buckets' you speak of.

i must be missing something or am just not getting it :/

a hempy bucket is just a regular bucket, but you drill a hole in the side about 2inches from the bottom for drainage?

lol i do this as a natural instict, no terminology for it. if i dont drill a few holes in the bottom for drainage, its on the side. big whoop!

Hempy buckets have no drainage holes in the bottom; the hole in the side is only used to judge if the 2" reservoir at the bottom of the bucket is full. You add nutes until you get a little runoff out of the hole, then you know the res is full.
Some people like to call hempy's buckets "passive hydro", because they use a soilless medium (100% perlite, or a perlite/vermiculite mixture), they use hydro nutes instead of nutes for soil, you use hydro pH levels etc.
They are an awesome method, and generally will DOMINATE in a side-by-side grow with a soil plant. I stress the word dominate, because that's what happens. LOL

i personally had to look up info about these 'hempy buckets' you speak of.

i must be missing something or am just not getting it :/

a hempy bucket is just a regular bucket, but you drill a hole in the side about 2inches from the bottom for drainage?

lol i do this as a natural instict, no terminology for it. if i dont drill a few holes in the bottom for drainage, its on the side. big whoop!

You got it........A sealed bucket......one hole on the side(anywhere from 1inch-2 inches from the bottom, depending on the size, but its no science...i dont even measure anymore)....cover the hole with some sort of mesh.....i personally use drywall tape.....

Medium:
use 100% perlite or 4 pts. perlite/ 1 pt vermiculite or coco and verm.....or turface.....or keep reading....ive even heard of someone using cat litter and perlite...i use 4 pts perlite/ 1 pt vermiculite....you can find them at home depot.....4 cu ft. bags both together cost $24

Nutes:
Use any type of nutes but run the ph at 5.8-6.0....i personally run fox farm hydro nutes.....but once again ive heard people run soil nutes, teas...you name it...its been run on hempy buckets...I personally start them around 600ppm/.5 conversion.....and get them to around 1300-1400 ppms.

Watering:

For the first few weeks probably around 3 wks.....water daily....then water every other day....

Thats about the best cliff notes i got for you.......Maybe Dooobster will chime in further......hes grown some dank in Hempy buckets

But is just a simple way of passive hydro....the medium acts as a wick....and the built in res. holds the water for a few hours...

I agree they will dominate a side by side soil grow...plus you can fix problems almost instantly because the medium holds very little nutes, and you water every other day if not daily

Hey dude. I put my hempy plants into flower on Friday and they are quickly filling up my grow box. :D I can't believe how bushy they grew. I have to move a bunch of leaves out the way just to see the main stem. My temperatures have been cold lately (15C/59F) but they are still growing like banshees. When the weather warms up I think they will really start to grow pubes. :stoned:

Everything seems to be on overdrive now the plants are starting to smell quite peppery....nice-n-spicy....The large plant is starting to bulk up....I really dont have much to update than the clones are flowering nicely.....there are hairs everywhere....

Im quite thrilled with anything at this point both box probably cost me around $120 together and it looks like im going to yeild way more than that in chronic.....just goes to show people how cheap weed can be grown!

This box is made from a 26x26x26 inch box from office depot..

4 light fixtures and some CFL's total cost = $18

But really i had everything but the box so the real cost was about $6

i cant even believe we didnt get a rain storm from IKE....i though for a min we were going to get hammered but all is good....i had both of the generators running....all the supplies.....i learned over the years....constantly getting battered by hurricanes....

im so excited for you about the baby...man it changes your life for the best....its a little tough, but man its worth it!......Package went out this morning should be your ways by weds.....look out for it!

me and dooobster have been preaching about the hempy's for the past 6 months now....they are so easy to grow in....ive never thought of mold.....but i definely believe in 10-15% runnoff to prevent sitting water in the buckets.....the buckets seem to dry out in like 6-8 hour though.

Hey DE.Db33t - You should really give the hempys a try bro... I've never had, or heard of anyone else having mold problems at all in them.

They're really just like a soil grow, except you use hydro nutes & pH levels... I'm tellin ya... hempy really hit on something good with this method. If you do a side by side grow with a hempy & a soil pot, you will see... the hempy will dominate. :rastasmoke:

In my opinion, it doesn't matter what size container you use... One thing to keep in mind is that its tricky to transplant when using all perlite or perlite/vermiculite mix...
It can be done, ya just have to be careful. Starting them in a small, tall container like a soft drink cup, letting them get a nice root system, and then transplanting into the container it will finish in would be what I suggest. :)

I agree.......ive used the 8oz and 16 oz cups and both work........i just cut the bottom half off and placed them in there new homes.....it waste less nutes plus they hit the res very fast....i had NO problems trasplanting the hempys.....but i will say the cups were very rootbound....very rootbound....so much i didnt even see perlite or vermiculite....just roots....

On another note.....i will say this run i didnt transplant at all and i had very similar results...and the size of the container really doesnt matter but really dont go above 3 or 5 gal .....personally i wouldnt use a 5 gal...but ive read people using them.....in my 11 lt. mop buckets.....the plants are about 6-7 ft tall right now.....you dont need that big of a buckets when going hempy!

I will also do a side by side very soon....i still have a bag of FF ocean forest just chillen in the garage collecting dust.

The plant is getting fuller everyday......its smells like kinda pepper but gettin to smell like lemons in some areas.....close to the true top of the plant.....i figure another 28-35 days more or when the trichs completely turn 100% amber.....looking for that pure couchlock........The plant is exactly 59 Day from being a Dry Seed!!

im glad the package got there......everything i really had extra of (full 10 packs except the green bud which i thought you might wanna grow).

Enjoy the peru seeds.... man the bud is off the chain.....seriously....we are gonna use it for multiple breeding projects in the future.....we found like three phenos but one straight smells like soap and is so covered in crystals.... its not even funny.......the c99xnl project is coming right along.....we should see seeds in like the thrid week of Oct....i dont know if we have it right but we will see on the next grow....

In the pics i got one plant other than the clones(LST'ed for 3 weeks straight every day about 4 shoots)........that is in the pics.....with some friends i have a few other rooms.....i have 12 plants of Black Haze flowering in one room(hempy buckets). 18 plants of Black Haze in flowering another room(5 gal drip rings).....I have a room now dedicated to test grows and breeding projects....With my peru seeds we just finished the i think F3's and the C99 x NL project but we are trying to isolate the c99 pheno.....we got a perfect Mother of the C99 but we need a father......we think we found one but we will see how the seeds turn out.....

Well its been another week......we are kinda still dealing with a little strech but i think thats all gonna stop soon as i give them their first dose of FF bestie Bloomz(they will be getting a dose this afternoon)...ive noticed on my large plant as soon as i gave them a dose of the bestie bloomz the streching completely stopped and the plant started to bulk up!

The clones are getting large.....the buds are really starting to form and i would say its closer to the size of the buds on my larger plant at 3 weeks...

I figure i break down the update days between the big plant and the clones.....Nothing to interesting other than the buds are getting bigger and the plants absolutly stinks......sh*t.....today i came home from work and thought someone was in my house smoking dank.....then remembered i live alone.....The smell is a very peppery lemon smell.....its smells potent.....check out the pics....check out the crystal formation....sorry once again....i have a good digital but its only a handheld.......the final pics i will take with my brothers SLR.....but for now the pics.

Yeah bro......you cant tell by the pics, but i cut a few sugar leaves off to has a looksy under the microscope.......they have about 15-20 amber/the rest are cloudy....a few are still clear....I will say the trics look like they are going to explode with THC......the heads are just huge! Thanks for stopping by...ive always been a fond lurker of your grows....love the strains you find!

I know everyone is tired of me saying all is well but that just how it is! The clones just got their last feeding of Bestie Bloomz, and are going to start on cha ching tomorrow! Some of them are bulking up nicely the rest are just growing along with not much bud yet!

The large plants is doing well also....the buds are starting to get heavy.......so heavy that their can barely support themselves.....i might need to start steaking up the plant in the coming week.....i figure 2 more weeks of Feeding/1 week of flushing and their done....by then the trics should be most amber by then....if not we might just have to wait an extra week or 2!

man this is genius. i am using same rubbermaid set up with soil. and dang I'm gonna transplant to hempy. how many cfl's total are you running? and how deep do you put the root ball? i have a post w/ some problems. this might be the way to go. thank you for not retireing your hobby

Be very careful when transplanting to Hempy's from soil.......give them a real good rinse and try to remove all the soil....or as much as you can....i run 6 cfl's in my rubbermaid....4-23w 2700k / 2-26w 6500k.......and the root ball goes just below surface level....id say about 1/4 inch below the surface....hope this helps...feel free to ask more questions as the come!

Well nothing has changed in Killa's land lately......the buds arent getting much bigger.....the smell is definetly of a musky lemon smell(smells potent)....The trics are getting amber and fast....ive taken a few more sugar leaves to check out the colors, and i cant even believe my eyes....Most of the trics are amber....i mean like 60-70% and we are only on the 47th day or so of bloom! I could pick them now but id figure a few more days of nutes then a 7 day flush....then to the dryer box im building.....ill post pics of the dryer box this weekend but here is a little bud porn for the crowd......Thanks to everyone along for the ride.....i couldnt have done it without the support of the people on this site and the others i frequent!.....Stay safe and high my friends!:rastasmoke:

For the first 3 weeks of Veg. I water every day....After, then every other day....Purpwidow......its the soil......i dont know if you read my whole log but this is what Dooobster said"Hempys will DOMINATE a soil grow" and he is right......passive hydro especially Hempy Buckets produce very explosive growth as soon as they hit the Res. which only takes about 2 weeks then BOOM!

Hydro....bro thanks once again....bro i woke up this morning in a bad mood....saw your comment, and it set me in a good mood.....or maybe its the blunt of the Blacks im smokin right now!.......Joking bro....thanks always for commenting!

I bought the seeds from Dr. Chronic.....but the breeder is CH9 and pete's new strains can be found on Seedbay the cheapest; just food for thought

DT......coming from you this is a true complement....honestly......im no where near perfection.....and i truely admire your grows......thanks for participating in my log over here too.

Well the clones are looking to be more promising than the large plant at this point.......Probably at the same time in the large plants growth......The buds were no where as large as the clones and the smell is so strong on the clones.....its crazy.....Today they will be getting their final nute formula.....2 tsp of Grow Big Hydro, 1 tsp. Tiger Bloom, 1 tbsn. Big Bloom, 1/2 tsp of Cha Ching.

This is probably the last time ill be able to take the clones out of the box for an update like this......the box is totally crambed.....just imagine i plan on running about 21 cuts in a SOG(32 gatorade bottles...Clones,no veg) in this box in the coming weeks.(Hempy/Coco/FFOF).

I will post the pics according to the pheno......got 6 plants.....2 very different phenos: Take a look! Once again....i might sound like a broken record but thanks for all the viewer and complements! Until next time.....Stay safe and high! :thumbsup:

Thanks again hydro......the pots are 32 oz gatorade bottles, 1 pedalite Bottle, 1 - 100 CD spindle cover.....i believe in recycling.....HAHAHAHA

No the clones are not bagseed.......These are the clones off the larger plant in the log and the smaller plant from the log that is at another location......all the plants in this log are CH9 mixed females except the few pics of the Black haze......and i probably should of seperated the large plant log and the clones, but i figured since they are off the same 2 plants from the log why not combine the logs.

I'm new to these boards but a previous SCROG grower 10 yrs ago. But gave it up. Man, the methods have changed. Hempy buckets, CFL's and LST are all new since then. These are some of the best looking plants I've seen and for such little/inexpensive space.

I'm really interested in more details about your rubbermaid grow room.

Forgive me if I ask too many questions, it's in my nature.

How are the lights mounted and hooked up electrically?
The same question for the fans? What kind are they too?
I'd love to see more pics of how the box is put together, if possible.
Is there anything in the box for light reflection like mylar?

I will try to answer the best i can.....if you need further explaining, always feel free to ask...OK

2 x 22 gal rubbermaid boxes

Lights are mounted in the box using 2 x 3 bulb vanity fixtures you can find at Home Depot/Lowes/Walmart.....I combined the 3 wires on both vanity pics and wired it to a piece of 12 gauge grounded cord i purchased from HD.... They are bolted to the side.......the bulbs lay horizontal.......This i took from Bordom of Childrens Rubbermaid Log.....Take a look....mine are mounted in the same way.....If you need pics......or i can post them when the lights come back on tomorrow!

The only thing i really did differently is mount the exhaust on the side of the top box.....instead of the top of the top box.....but this is where i got the design!

The fans.....one is a $5 massey fan(exhaust on the top of the box) purchased at walmart.....just cut off the plug.....ran it through the box....replaced plug with a new one. Intake is a thermaltake 96cfm computer fan i purchased at a local pc shop....but you can find them on newegg for $7.50.....i wired this to one of my old Nokia Cell Chargers......Problem here was a significant amount of negative pressure.....so i also cut 3 x (1/2 holes using PVC elbows.)

Reflective material: I just used a ton of flat white spray paint....I used the plastic type.....first a primer....then 3 cans of flat white on the inside.....4 cans of black on the outside......This is by far the most expensive part of the box.

Dont forget to buy some weatherproofing also.....thats about it.....hope it helps but bordom is truely the rubbermaid master.....so check out that log too!

Well this plant is getting closer to her final call......I figure not to much longer.....I will feed her nutes for the last time tomorrow, and then a 7-9 day flush.....the its time.....I will update this plant one more time at the end of the flush and after its trimmed

Im hoping its good.....I know this is a no no.....but id expect somewhere in the neighborhood of 2 1/2-3 oz dry from the larger plant.

Now for the Update:

The clones are 36 days in bloom......im thinking these are probably gonna take a week or two more than the big plant....probably due to the amount of light! They are smelling nicely and starting to get covered in crystals...I gave them a light leaf trimming in attemps to get some light to the bottom of the plants!

Great grow and log, Killa. I'm sure your plants and photos are HT quality too. Hey, there are probably tons of submissions, many beautiful shots but yours could be picked from teh best of them.
Also, thanks for being a 'broken record' as we can't keep all the details straight from one grower to the next without some reminders. I'm going to check out CH9 right now as I don't remember looking at their gear before.

Hope you don't mind me taking a shot at answering Sunny's question,but I'd have to say that the "rubber-maid" grow box is also the "rubber-maid" dry box,(damn,you're good killa!!!),and a good grow box has it's intake on the bottom and outtake on the top...

Well it took sometime, but im done with the large plant......I hope everyone doesnt get mad at all the bud porn but i think everyone will enjoy!

Final wet weight = 236.6 gms/not including the little buds which are being made into hash oil tonight...Also, the scissor hash was great....just over a half lb. wet. with CFL's and one plant.....Pete the owner of Ch9 was happy with the quality....He sent me this list of seeds that he sent me today:

i put 10 humboldt fem.
5 aroma fem.
5 g bolt fem.
5 neville colombian red haze fem.
5 shanti super haze fem.
5 citral skunk fem.

I guess everyone is going to see a lot more of his work grown by me!

Not done drying yet...the few sample nugs got me blasted or it might have been the gm or so of scissor hash!

I will update with a smoke report after the cure....but i will keep this log going until the clones are finished!

On another note.....i germed two CH9 Green Bud Fem.....a reworked version of ERSB.....both cracked today and are in peat pellets as im writing this......New log should be up in the matter of days..

Also....i pulled the rootball out of the bucket to reuse the bucket again.....and the plant was no where even close to being rootbound....still tons of space to grow.....Roots where perfectly white....no root rot...

Heres one more pic of the fruits of my labor....this is the second one like this.....i got a total of 2.8 grams of beautiful hash of this plant also!

On another note.......does everyone remember my black haze project?.....well i dont.....really i havent been down there in a month.....call my best friend to eat lunch and check out the process.....well we eat.....he told me everything was going great......so we go to the house.....and i see the doorknob broken off.....i say to myself this cant be good! Walk into the house and the place is a mess......i start the oh sh*ts......walk into the room.....and nothing is there.....no equipment, no plants, no nutes, no meters....im fucked....sorry for the profanity.....but im really fucked.....i have nothing else to say.....but i hate jackers....the plants still had atleast 8 wks.....i have no fucking clue what they are going to do with them.....but time to reinvest.....i cant believe this shit....if i didnt have bad luck id have none.....im going to kill myself now....please dont try to stop me! Im really not going to kill myself but i feel like doing it!......

oh shit killa, that is so f-ed up. I feel for you bro, my friend got all his jacked one time too ... sounds like you had quite a grow going ... sorry, not trying to rehash bad memories.

Ahhhhh dude... That's friggin wrong bro!!! If it's someone in that town, sooner or later they're gonna spill the beans or brag about it to someone... Not that you should do anything for revenge, because they've definitely got some bad karma headed their way... They'll get theirs, one way or another.

I know it sucks... but look on the bright side... At least it wasn't LEO... It coulda been worse, my friend.

No i still have all my personal test grows.....but the large grow i had with a buddy got jacked......plus our breeding projects......the only thing we have left is 6 flowering plants of black haze and my other two mothers of the CH9....luckily these were at my buddies personal house and that did get hit!

I really think its because of my friend and his bad karma but that part of the the game.....im not really losing to much sleep over the matter anymore.....

But the total dry weight was 58 gms......i know its a little low but i manicured these buds perfectly.....no drop leaves no stem.....no water weight....perfect dank.....

The buds arent the best weed ive ever seen.....trust me.....ive smoke world class dank for the last 18 yrs.....but i will say its definetly some of the most potent dank ive ever smoked......i really dont know if its the weed or the hash or both....because everytime ive smoked it....its had hash on it.....but a hlf of a blunt and right to sleep....This is not weed you wanna go to work on.......your eyes are straight F*cked after smoking this sh*t...Smells of straight lemons......i give it at 9.5 out of 10.......i dont care for looks just the effect and this is good dank! enjoy the pics:

I guess im in a better mood today.....why not update all the logs properly....

Well the clones are on the final turn.....one more week of nutes....another 7 day flush and finished....As you can see the buds can bearly support themselves!

Well this is the final week.....i will start the flush today...As u can see in the pics all the large buds can no longer support themseles...unfortunatly i had one of the indica plants start to die....i think because there were a lot of root exposure on the top plus the drange hole on the bucket was too small...She was picked 10 days early and to my surprise she smokes very well....good high.....very different from the sativa pheno....ive had previous....she got a 4 day dry and so far 3 days of curing....

Heres some final weights and thoughts.....

79 grs...dry.....just like the first run....so plus the 58 g. from the first plant..we have a total of 137gs total

just 3 grams under 5 oz.....not bad bad for about $120 hard materials and $30 nute costs!

i really think my current run will be more productive than the last run....i plan to run about 20 clones and see what the final numbers are like with more plants in the same grow area.....but only time will tell.

Oh i forgot to mention the 9 gms or soo of Hash too....but i still need to figure out how to get just a little more.....im not trying to be greedy but id really like to stop buying weed....i figure i smoke about 12 oz every 2 months or so.....this will be the goal im working toward very soon.....but id really like to keep this a small micro grow......so in other work we need to increase the efficiencies of my limited space! Yeah....i think the one large cola sog style is going to be fun but tons more work....i hated watering 7 plants every other day......so im really gonna hate to do 20-30 plants soon...good luck to u also.....looking forward to seeing another log!
