So my plants are 5 days into 12/12 and signs of sex were visiable. Out of the 5 plants, 3 turned out to be ladies. The largest sadly turned out to be male.
Just posting some pictures to see if anyone has comments. How do they look?

About how long into the grow did they start to bush out like that?
Me and some friends have 3 plants growing and we're hoping they turn out to be little pot bushes like that. Thanks man. :smokin:

They grew bushy from the start. Most of them have been topped once but I would associate most of thier squat stature to genetics and how close the lighting was held to the plants throughout veg.
They were vegged on 6 40watt flor tubes and are now under a aggro max hps.

some strains tend to be more bushy then other, the higher the percentage of Indica within the genes the better chance you will have of having a nice couch lock high and bushy plants with nice wide fan leaves

To actually answer your question bro, they are looking good to me
The top right seems a little under developed compared to the rest of them though
What strain is it? and what nutes are you using?

SunnyD, the top right one turned male so no biggie it was stunted :). I am using ff tiger bloom and big bloom. The strain is unknown, a mystery lost to bagseed.
Here are the three remaining ladies. Took a few clones from each after certifying their gender. The middle plant seems to have a bit of a yellow shade to her leaves and the right plant is experiencing some claw leaves but overall they seem to be fairing very well under the new hps.
Second week into 12/12.

thanks guys, yea it cracked me up i was watching a grow dvd the other day and they had segments of TPBs mixed into the instructional video.
The plants are doing well, one is still doing the claw thing a bit but they seem to be doing well. I will post some more pictures next friday at the end of week 4 to show progress.
Oh, currently looking into getting some lowrider 2 plants to have around while i grow longer strains.

Will do, actually harvesting tonight! So good timing. Switched computers and have been to lazy to post any new pictures but here are a couple.
Lots has happened since i last updated. Mainly they are finally at harvest. I had some temperature issues when my ac compressor went out so there are some leaf burns on the plant leaves.

Can you post pics and final dry weight after you're done hanging them?

Sure thing, here is a picture of the plants hung up. I still need to manicure more soon and am very curious to how it smokes when properly dried.
No clue about the weight since it was my first grow and do not have an eye for that sort of thing but will post the final results after they dry( in 1-2 weeks?) before i start curing.

Kind of a moot question to ask now but by the pictures shown, do you think i harvested at an appropriate time? I had a 30x mag glass to verify almost all of the trics were cloudy then waited 3-4 days before i cut them down.
I was shooting for more of a heady high than couch lock and my clones were banging at the flowering room door to be let in. From almost every thread ive read about someone asking if their crop is ready the majority of posters recommended weeks more growing time. The plants were in week 8.5-9 when chopped.

in my opinion, your harvest window was open at the time you chopped them down especially if all the trichs were cloudy.. you were growing an indica strain right? which in general dont require as much flowering time as sativas, so I think you are fine =) especially since you say you were going for the heady high. i think you cut at the right time!!
dont stress ... you did fine!!
tell us how much you got dry .. id be interested to know!

Looks good to me! Not too many ambers for the effect you are going for.

So i used the skuff to make some hash for the first time. I tried out the blender and alcohol methods to some success. I will know tonight or tomorrow how it turned out. Would have loved to done the bubble bag method but got to start somewhere right :D.
Coming up on one week of drying on those buds.

The buds have finally dried and are in jars to cure. The dry weight was 8.125 ounces.
