I had my surgery about 6 days ago, and I haven't smoked since(last time was the night before). I also just went to the dentist today to get the rest of my stitches taken out, and I asked him how long I should wait before smoking again, and he told me to wait ANOTHER week on top of the week I already didn't smoke!

What I want to know is how can I smoke so that I don't cause much suction in my mouth? I only have a bowl to smoke out of, and that wouldn't be too good since I need to suck all the smoke in. I've heard scary things about getting dry socket and all that. I've also looked into making some teas but I only have a dime right now and don't think that'll be enough for tea.

DO NOT TRY TO SMOKE

Dry socket is a hell of a thing. I recently had mine out (all 4 actually) and even though ai wanted to smoke I didn't give in to temptation.

Look at the big picture, sure smoking now will feel great at first but when you get dry socket you won't be able to smoke for even longer than what was originally planned.

And just think of the lower tolerance you'll have!

And if you REALLY feel it necessary to risk Dry Socketing your mouth this close to being able to smoke normally, then you can always make a makeshit Gravity Bong...

Find an empty plastic pop bottle, cut the bottom off, make a little bowl with a hole, and voala!!

You don't really have to suck on anything, it just forces it into your mouth.

But seriously, just hold off for another week like good ol' doc told you, there are still wounds that can get infected if you do smoke...and that's not what you're looking for.

Stay Sunny

I just tried this recipe and it worked! I wasn't completely stoned, but I did feel a nice high from the tea. Overall it was definitely worth it, and no dry sockets!

This was the recipe: http://boards.cannabis.com/recipes/133688-marijuana-tea.html

I did use Vodka instead of the vanilla extract, and I also didn't use any allspice. Plus I only used .5 instead of a gram, and I was feeling it! Took about an hour for it to kick in.
