Has anyone grown Jack Herer? Is it a clone only variety or are seeds available? What is the history of the genetics? Indoor/Outdoor experiences would be greatly appreciated

From what I am gathering Jack Herer is a three-way cross that is slightly unstable. With four basic phenotypes. Four that are sativa dominant and one that is indica.

Has anyone grown this stuff? Specifically any of the sativa like phenos indoors? Is this something available as clone on the east coast?

Three way cross, HazexNLxSkunk. It is finicky, very much so. Heat is a definate killer here. The plant variety is quite wide with them all being pretty tall from seed, and from clone can be quite large as well but more manageable. I've had the sativa and indica pheno and both are delicious, delicious, but keep in mind these plants had alot of love cause its finicky :)

yeah I've got a few on the go... the heat was certainly a factor but luckily my AC kicked in the nick of time... yield wasn't the best but it was a soil grow and no co2..

but the taste!!!!

Yeah its is a serious strain if grown right. Last time I smoked some It was the one and only time I was unable to ride in a vehicle. I made my dd pull over and let me out. Had to walk.. Serous Strain Indeed. How do you think it would do outdoors organically?

JH is one of my top 3 strains...Been out for over 10 years, and still kicks in the nuts...I grew JH for quite a while, and prefer the high of the sativa phenos completely...Some of the best tasting, and best highs out there...high lasts longer than usual...yield is more towards a connoisseur strain....5ft plant gave me little over 2 oz....but PREMIUM shit man...so it depends on if you are growing for medicinal/personal use...or if your "dollar inclined" you may wanna look at jock horror....bigger yielding variety of JH.....

I would imagine it would do GREAT outside

ok I bite. I am gonna give it a shot next season. I will have to grow from seed. I am def. looking for sativa dominant side. What should I look for in a mother?

JH can display up to 4 phenotypes...My original 10 Sensei Seeds JH only had 2 really...but I would clone your favorite couple at onset...then once the originals flower, chose your mom to keep....your not gonna be able to tell which is your favorite till they flower out...thats why you clone the best lookin 3 or 4...the ones that show the traits you like..I looked for fast tight growth, quick response to onset and high...yield was soso in decision making as evident in my grow log...I prefer quality to quantity...
