I went and saw The Dark Knight the other night with my buddy at the theatre. It's the best Batman they've made, seriously!! They took what was in the original Tim Burton film, removed the corniness, added new things and went into some deeper themes the other Batman movies never went into. It's a shame about Heath Ledger too, cause he did a truly great job as The Joker, I could see him possibly getting a late nomination for the role. I never really was impressed with anything Ledger did, but when the movie ended. I was a little bummed like "Damn, they can't bring him back." The rest of the actor's play their roles well also, Christian Bale is a good Batman. The movie definately lived up to hype thats been surrounding it. Overall it gets the definite  from me.

GO SEE IT, IT'S AWESOME!!!

Agreed, I saw the movie Saturday night and thought it was utterly fantastic.

Now that Heath Ledger has redeemed the role that Jack Nicholson did so fucking horribly, I'm hoping that the Riddler will be redeemed also, seeing as Jim Carrey fucked it up so bad.

Now now, I wouldn't say that Jack necessarily fucked it up by any means. It was a Tim Burton film, and if you know anything about Burton, it was a very interesting rendition on the comic book series. I still prefer the darker, more to the comic versions they've done recently, but you gotta love Tim Burton.

But the one's with Robin, haha, yeah, sucked big time.

"Everybody CHILL."

Nicholson was good but Jim Carrey was god damn awful! Ledger's performance is a world apart.

I really don't have to love Tim Burton, in fact, I quite loathe him as a film director.

1st rule of movies/comics, no one is ever really dead. They held the memorial for Harvey Dent, who for all intents and purposes did die that day. I am pretty certain that Two-Face is very much alive, and Commissioner Gordon had him committed. He fell the same height as Batman, who lived. The next movie is most likely going to say he fell unconscious from the fall.

I am pretty confident that Two Face will be in the next film. I also have an inkling that the man who went on TV to reveal Bruce Wayne will also come back as the Riddler. His name is Mr. Reese, sounds a lot like Mysteries, where the original Riddler also had a name like that, E. Nygma, aka Enigma. He's an employee of Wayne enterprises, which the Riddler also was. It's something to think about at least.

whats that supposed to mean

Jack Nicholson's version of the Joker, in MY opinion (and you're allowed to have yours) was far too campy and cartoonish. Batman has always been a dark, tragic figure. The Tim Burton version of batmans world just doesn't sit right with me.
