View Full Version : Vegitative growth--but it smells like bud??

Maybe you can already tell what this thread is about by the title.

I have a plant that has been growing about 3 weeks outdoor, and the bottom fan leaves turned yellow and actually died. so when i picked them off the plant, i was surprised if not amazed to find that these dried up , yellow, and basically dead fan leaves smelled skunky--like mature bud.

is this a sign that it might be a female? has anybody had experience with male plants and such a strong odor?

sex has nothing to do with smell. some plants stink and some dont

damn rite, my male smells more then my female right now, and then i have a seedling that smells dank...its a good sign of good genetics maybe

When I've grown good quality seeds, from the netherlands, they smell dank before they even preflower.

My outdoor plants started smelling strongly around three weeks of age. *shrug*

well i'm happy to say that my plant is doing quite well. it's tempting to flower it. thanks for your input guys!
