Hello everyone :hippy: this will be my second indoor grow... soo any advise is very much appreciated... i was at the cannabis club about 3 days ago and saw a very healthy sour grape haze clone and i just couldnt leave with out her soo i decide to log her grow and see how the out come comes out... i will be using soil and sensi grow part A and B ... she will be under 3 27 watt cfls for vegging and then under the big 1000watt hps light for flower.. i will be vegging her for about 40 days until one of my females is done flowering because i can only have 6 flowering and 6 vegging according to my script.... also i will be lst training her and this will be my first time using this method.... enough with the typing lets get started fo sho :rastasmoke:

from seed... and this black kush seeds WERE HORRABLE i got them from the california seed bank .... 11/14 germinated within one day (using paper towel method) and grew very healthy

ONLY ONE OUT OF 14 WAS FEMALE ....... wow could of bought 4 or 5 clones for the price of the seeds

but my purple voodoo seeds out of 14 .... 6 crack put one straight under 12/12 BAm a female same exact thing with my mr nice (g13/hashplant) put one into 12/12 female

im going to reveg the purple voodoo and mr nice after harvest and get clones out of them

thnx shov hopefully i can get some buds as big as yours..... how is that bubblegum treating you and the purps?

you think the purple stem on the sour grape haze clone is good or do you think its a deficiency of something

I don't think much of purple tints. Purple buds of a particular strain usually don't taste any better than the non purp. Lots of strains can have purple hues without having a nutritional defficiency. Now, purple strains that are supposed to be fruity and dark purple or lavender are something else. Unfortunetly, I've not been able to try any of the connessuer kinds of purples. :smokin:

oh ya, the bubblegum hybrid ended up being a wonderful crop. No anxiety at all, very energetic, creative. No munchies. I picked the buds when the first trics were just going to amber, 80% or more cloudy. I'm smoking and enjoying quite a bit of it so far.

well im growing lots of purple right now..... at least the name of the plants have purple in it lol... but get this i popped open some purple urkle from the club and it must be one of the best smelling purples ive smelt is a while and guess what came with about 30 seeds lol... also my purple voodoo seed packet said this about the plants...

"a high demand strain with fine purple and pink calyxs in abundance. above average yeilds and beautiful sweet aromas. expect mostly colored ladies with a rare green phenotype"

cant wait to see her in full blossom...:hippy:

anyone ever hear of sourgrape haze before? cant find it on google... sounds like a good smoke :pimp:

Now that is a room full of green - and purple, at least in name at this point. Maybe as they get older, you'll see more purple. I hope so, as I am really intrigued by purple strains too - I remember being in high school and hearing about a buddy having the opportunity to smoke some "purple indica." I had no idea what it meant back then, only that it was supposed to be some fire ass weed, which it looks like you'll have some of that on your hands soon enough!

That mystery purple is a beautiful looking plant - there is something about sativas that really draw my attention; I think it has something to do with the long, thin leaves that look like they'd wrap around your brain mighty nicely.

I wish you continued good luck with your grow! Be good out there!

does anyone know what i should do with my mystery purple sativa plant ? it wont stop getting taller and it out growing my flower room its in its 7 1/2 week of flowering and the buds are skinny and they arent fattening up .... im guessing its going to be a good 90 day flower with this one ... also the clone i got off of her is only 24 days old from rooted and put straight into 12/12 and she is just as tall and wont stop.... i think i can still lst her but the big one is to woody.... any suggestions ... i guess i can throw here out side but that might make here go hermy..... can clones go hermaphrodite?

anyone out there??? i need some help with my grow.... also my clones old lower leaves are turning yellow then a light tint of purple on the edges then turning almost a white purple color... is this a magnesium deficiencey?

bickey, all of your plants look great - sweet purple room! As for your questions, I probably don't have the answers, but I'll throw out some suggestions.

For your mystery purple, do you think you could tie some string to her uppermost stalk and tie her down without breaking her stalk? Also, does she have quite a bit of lower bud sites? If she has a bunch of lower bud sites, maybe top her? Since she has been flowering well for awhile, I don't know that I would throw her outside; or, I would wait until the fall solstice when it's 12/12 outdoors, then throw her outside.

As for your clones, I have never messed with clones, but that won't stop me from putting some thoughts on the table. How are their roots? Did you trim the fan leaves back any? Maybe the roots cannot support a lot of leaves (being the reason for the last 2 questions)?

Hopefully you'll get some good advice in here. I doubt my suggestions will help all that much, but thought I'd throw something on the table - maybe someone will come along and correct me, thereby helping you out? I hope you get all of your issues sorted, though in the long run, they will probably sort themselves. By and large your grow room looks pretty flippin' amazing, my friend! Be good out there!

That clone could have a magnesium deficiency but it looks closer to a nitrogen or sulfur deficiency. What kind of soil are you using? Check the ph it can cause poor uptake in nutrients if it is out of the preferred range. I would recommend a flush and then apply a complete fertilizer with micro nutrients. sorry guys i havent posted in awhile i have just been extremely frusterated with this grow... my mystery purple and her clone turned out to be a hermy :mad: so i chopped them down gunna make some cookies and thc pills with them... my purple kush has spider mited :( ... i went to the hydro guy and he gave me some zero tolerance to mist them with ... i misted the purple kush yesterday morning when the lights went off also with the purple voodoo and mr nice they seemed to have a couple damaged leaves ccaused by bugs... i also started my flush for my black kush (doesnt have any bugs and is looking really good) as for my clone i put her into flower but i have been giving her calmag seems to be helping ... ill have pics when light comes on later ... trying some mystery purple buds right now lol only a body high i think if i use the whole plant and clone ill get some good cookies

Hey man, some very nice looking plants. I'm especially intersted in your purple voodoo plants. Me friend picked up 2 containters from the Californina bean bank and judging by the pictures on the info card it should be fantastic. He will be growing it hyrdo, with a 6-part organic nutrient system and he will also be experienting with purple max to help with the color change from green to purple on in the last 5-6 weeks before harvest. From what I've read the bean bank seeds are not feminized right? Anyways please keep me updated on how the voodoo turns out.

thats where i got my seeds from.... no they are not feminized.... my black kush 1 out of 14 came out female and my purple voodoo 9-14 turned female.... unfortunitly my purple voodoo has white flies but i beleive i killed all the flies but my purple kush has spider mites that wont go away... i think i got them for a clone.... but i dont think the purple voodoo will come out like the picture on the package but you never know its only been like 40 days since she popped out of her seed...... the package says something like 55-60 days for flowering but when do i start counting down??? when i first see hairs or when o first see bud formation???

my sour grape haze clone grows about an inch an ahalf everyday.. i lst her down for the last time then ill let the top grow to one main cola.... i beleive my mr nice g13 seed is a female... also my purple urkle popped!!! :hippy:

kindof... when it was vegging a cfl fell on it and burned the top it has 8 main colas right now but should have 10 because about a month ago i accidently broke one of the big main colas off trying to lst it so light could get to the 2 smaller colas behind it but the stem snapped inhalf i guess that took care of the light problem also harvest one of the smaller colas like 4 days ago lol i was out of pot

yes i did get ahold of my deficiency it was either the calmag that took care of it or the sensi bloom because it went away when i threw it into flower... my temps are 88 sometimes spikes to 93 when the lights are on and 74 when the lights are off.. i need to put in another intake to get the temps down alittle... or another exhaust the only exhaust that is running is the cool tube.. i have a fan that blow away up aways from the plants and my intake gives them good air cirrulation.....

whats funny about the urkle is i went one of the dispenserys and they had some bomb purple urkle so i bought an eighth of it and it was some of the bombest weed ive had but when i broke it open about 40 seeds flew out of it i wasnt to dissapointed :rastasmoke:

i do think my plants are getting heat stressed... i have a good intake that cool ac air in but my only exhaust is my cool tube ... do you guys think if i had another exhaust or intake the temp would drop dramaticaly? or is it not worth the money to spend? i also have a fan that sits at the pots height and blows air straight upward....

its not my fault i only have a shitty camerea phone lol.... greenatik needs to come over and snapp a couple shots for me

here another noob question.... it looks like the mites jumped to my black kush it still has at least another week an a half till it is finished but im thinking of harvesting it early because of the mites.... when i do harvest should i do a water cure to make sure the mites get out of the bud or should i just air dry it????

bickey, it looks like you're in the buds for certain. That Black Kush is insane! I don't think I could handle full res pics of your plants - it'd be like staring into the sun, dude! Sorry to hear about your mite problem - maybe you should get some ladybugs? I saw a picture of a ladybug eating a mite, and it was straight up National Geographic/Discovery Channel shite!

thanks jake i hope i get some bomb out of black kush... i harvested the small colas 2 days ago and they were 6.2 grams weight and now 2 grams dry... i have 7 colas and need 4 grams a cola to get an ounce... i should hopefully get at least 25 grams dry....

yeah ive heard of using lady bugs maybe ill try it after im out of the ed rosenthal zero tolerance bug stuff... i think i got rid of most the mites see any i dont more webs but you never kno

bro.... u have a potass... def. u need more potash.... thats why your leaves are curling under.... and for the mited... try ladie bugs to control the mites and get advanced nutrients barracade (potassium silicate) the mites wont eat your plants once u start usin it....

yes they are fo sho!:rastasmoke: the biggest one weighed out to be 40 grams wet ... hopefullly it will be like 15 dry if im lucky! ,,, my purple voodoo is a little heat stressed but the buds are soo frosted and sticky and stinky smells bomb... the mr nice has mites it will come back it has a good smell to it ... also my purple kush is looking better every day.... ill be doing some maintance on my grow next monday and clean everything out......

bro u got potassium defience. u need more potas... what flower nutrients r u using...?
0-3-2.5 or sumtin round there... or n e other addatives ? try floral clean... from general hydroponics use that dilluted in your water no nutrients for a day and a half... then go back to nut's 25% strenth for a week then back to full force...

Could be according to your second and third pic

"Deficiency signs of potassium are: plants are the tallest and appear healthy. Older leaves mottle and yellow between veins, followed by whole leaves that turn dark yellow and die. Flower and fruit drop are common problems associated with potassium deficiency. Potassium is usually locked out by high salinity" - onlinepot.org

thats some good info ill have to get some more potassium to them....

im using sensi bloom part a and b A= 4.3 -0- 3.1 B= 1.5 -4.6- 5.7 and i use botanicare sweet 0-0-0

it says for part a potassium 3.10% and part b 5.70%

should i up the nutes??? i dont think i see signs of nute burn

what week r u in in your are in 2-6 more phos... but if u used too much phoss then u will have a potas def. week 6--8 more potass n less phoss... i use big bud from week 2-5 then overdrive from 6-8

well its been a couple days since an update.... purple urkle are in flower. sour grape haze clone is the healthiest plant by far... purple voodoo is on day one of a 2 week flush shes has probably the best smell by far out of all of them ....... g13/hashplant has 3 more days of nutes until the flush.....maybe longer....... purple kush is rebounding nicely... i still have some bugs but not a whole lot i will spray more zero tolerance tomorrow but not on my purple voodoo... heres the pics

thanks for joining the log dank ... the black kush is a strong growing plant with huge colas and it was fun growing it... unfortunatly i only got 1 female out of 14... also i made soon cookies with the trimming and they were extremely strong :rastasmoke:

well i was pretty high last night and decided to chopped my purple kush plant because it was pissing me off lol... it was in flower for 55 days and had spider mite half of those days.... i probably should of chopped it when i first saw the mites but o well... i decide to water cure the plant soo i make sure those spider mites are out of the buds... i also for got to take pics of the harvest....

bickey, I'm glad to hear that BlackKush is sweet! I can definitely understand your wanting to take some bongpulls instead of homework! HA! That choice brings back some serious memories! I just wish I would have had some of my own sweet homegrown buds at the time I was avoiding homework.

thanks for the comment jake :hippy:... i figure since i go to college i wouldnt beable to work full time so i made the investment to get my own setup and it has paid off fo sho! :rastasmoke: i cant wait till the purple kush is done.... you have a nice selection to jake Red Colombian Haze, PPP, Bubblelicious, ... i think i have 3 more days of changing the water then drying it ,,, this is m.y first time water curing and i heard that its bomb...... well here my update purple voodoo gets the chop on thursday and mr nice has about 2 weeks left... my sour grap haze clone it doing bomb! and my little erkles are also doing BOMB! i got 2 more fans for the inside and dropped my temps to 88 hopefully that will help the heat stress also got some fly strips from the hydro guy and they each have like 4 or 5 little flies on them

i checked the trichomes on my purple voodoo and half of them are amber soo i gave it the chop chop.... im soo high off of scissor hash ....... blah :rastasmoke: lol

the main cola was 55 grams ... everything weighed out to 90 grams wet... not bad for 12/12 from seed

well i had 2 purple voodoo nugs that dried a little fast soo me and greenz decided to smoke em.... and purple voodoo is the SHIT!!!:rastasmoke: about 20x better then the black kush and 10x better then the purple kush and its not even cured.... i smoke some at some 3 hours ago and im still high... it was a perfect full body and head high it came out to be the BOMB.... :hippy: fo sho homeowkr time blah

i had to harvest mr.nice a little early it decided to fuck itself and now its load with seeds!... i cant beleive it.... o well i just hope my sour grape haze didnt get affected by it.... heres the harvest dense little nuggies big nug weighed 45g all together 78grams

ill have to get some close ups with another camerea.... but its filled with these little balls everywhere!
the trichs were mostly cloudy a couple amber and clear

Purple Erkle is most definitely not a clone only strain. You might be thinking of purple kush... seeds came from bud from da club

Looks good bickey. That haze looks great it is definitely showing it's sativa traits. Is the ak variety a lowrider hybrid bred for low growing? Also did you weigh the purple voodoo after drying? Just curious about what I can expect from mine. :rasta:

whats happening trinity? my purple voodoo 12/12 from seed weighed out to be 24grams dried... AND IT WAS BOMB still have some left for the atmosphere concert tonight... im not sure with my ak i got the clones from the club... AND THERE WERENT ANY ROOTS!!!! so the one i put into flower died :mad:

expect good things from the purple voodoo one of my fav strains so for.. it has a very sweet and purpley aroma and the taste is great good luck with it tell me when you start them :rastasmoke:

today is day 50 for my sour grape haze clone... does anyone have an idea on how long its going to take? the trichs are still clear i think i will start my flush on monday just giving it sweet and molasses... ill nuke here with nuts tomorrow night jumping from 7 ml to 10 ml to a liter with 10 ml of sweet and 5 ml of molasses for her last nutes... ill have pics later tonight

o fo sho killa everything is going well cep for the bug problems.. thats the only thing and since it is perpeptual there always a plant that i cant spray that has mites... the sour grape haze got its last spray of zero tolerance today soo hopefully it will be done by day 60 and ill have time to get ride of the mites before the erkles get to old..... i need a good camerea hopefully sourgrape haze can help me out a little with that anyways heres some crappy pics :rastasmoke:

wow its been a while since ive posted.... all erkel have been harvested and they turned out great!!!!!!!! all of them harvested in different stages also harvested the plant greenatik gave me...

also i used sensi bloom part a and b also sweet and molas... I USE A LOT OF SWEET!!! start of flowering i use 4 ml to a liter and then before the flush starts 10 ml to a liter and during flush 14 ml with 6 ml of molas to a liter..
