So the time has past and as I was not given feedback on my log, so I've stop taking the time to do it.
Now my plant look like to be mature (they started to smell and they stated to have pistils) and they have been flip to 12/12 two days ago...
The only thing I found weird is on one of my plant, I'm not sure if it's some pollen sack, can you please check and tell me what you think about it !
Pic 1: is the plant you need to check

A+ Man! Id recommend a bigger exhaust and bigger carbon filter if your just going to scrub the air in that room. Scrubbing takes more power then exhausting. Good Luck!

This is an 450 CFM vortex fan 6", you really think I need something bigger ?
To make a round number let's say the room is 7x7x7 that makes 343 CF, so I have a complete exhaust in less than 1 minute... Let's say the carbon filter reduce the intake, Am I still should be all right? Let me know what you think about this.

So this may mean I have an hermie, I will go buy some Dutch Master Reverse to kill the pollen sac... I'll wait to be sure this is really male part and will kill the clones I've made of this plants before flipping it to 12/12.
If other can check the 1st picture and give me more feedback.
Thanks to all of you !

So I was right, the only Northern Light I have has turn hermie on me, as you can see in picture #1... I'll get some Master Dutch Reverse for this time, I will not keep the clones on this plant, too bad...
Well at least the 4 afghan, I have are females, that really a lucky shot !
They had been flip on 12/12, 4 days ago and I already see some pistils. Can't wait to see some buds forming... I don't expect to see some before 2 or 3 weeks. Leave you're comments and feedback.

if you were exhausting that would be fine for your room. but you need double when you scrub.

Even if I have half of my the power (225 CFM) I exhaust the room in less than 5 min. I can't afford more power (because of the noise)... A muffler could be a good solution for this, but I'm starting to get low on money... I'll wait at least for the first harvest, after I may consider.

When you're all finished on this one, just refer back to this log, roll a nice spliff up of some of that afghan and brainstorm...."what didn't perform as I wanted?, what went wrong?, what could have gone wrong?, maybe if this is....?,..."
You get what I'm saying. ;)

Hey, Lu! Sorry to read about the NL hermie, but you still have some sweet Afghans in flower! They are some serious bushes, my friend! It looks like you have a nice clean setup too. I can't wait to come indoors! You indoor guys grow some serious bushes in a hurry. Dang good work! I'm looking forward to some bud shots, bro!

I just check out the plant carefully and I found no female pre-flower any where on the plant. So it's a male, I'm getting ready to cut it down. Here some pic of this bastard ! :P

So it look like I was thinking these big things, with on X on the picture, was pre-flower... As I notice later on they are not... Checking again this morning it look like I have another male. As for the 3 other they seems to be females, I'll confirm that later, with some other pictures.

Sorry for the male......but thats the chance we take......i had similar luck last run with my only two plants turning out male......sucks but its a learning experience......this run i decided to invest in some fem seeds....got 2 plants both are female....good luck....the plants look great
LuciferN

Here is some picture of the other male I'm going to cut down.
The 3 other plant show pistils and no balls so far... So this might not be too bad for a first grow from seeds, out of 5 plants 3 females, I've already made clones for all the plants, I will just keep the females.
I was not expecting a lot for my first grow and this is perfect. It's just enough to get the experience I wanted. The next one should be better.

nice work man. you prob. wont see buds until the 4th or 5th week of flower, when they start to fill up. you did good to get three out of 5. now just make a potential mother for each of the three remaining (from their clones), wait till harvest for size, weight and smoke report to decide which one to keep and you should be home free:thumbsup:

Thank you for dropping by SnSstealth and leaving this little advise, I was planning on doing exactly that, good to have a confirmation that my idea is a good one !
The only problem I have is that I can't have vegging and flowering plants in the same room for now because I have no way to make the closet in my grow room light proof and I can't really leave them somewhere else in the house. So I figure out I'll need to throw a little more cash in and buy a grow tent. This will give me the possibility to have a section for flower and another for vegging and I'll have a light proof environment for my flowering baby and later on for drying.

Tomorrow is the feeding day, I'm using Earth Juice (EJ) products for these as I wanted to make a organic grow. I'm feeding them with some Grow, Bloom and Catalyst from EJ. Next water will have the same mix, then the for other one I will cut the Grow from the mix and just add Bloom and Catalyst.

hey man,
doing good. had a suggestion though....you might get a bit more light penetration if you offset the pots a bit..just the middle one an inch or so in one direction and the outside 2 the other way. just a thought, i dont know how much your falloff in light is when you move them away from center but it might help.

Thinking about it it not a bad idea, I was trying to squeeze them together in this way they are directly under the lamp, but as this is a 1000w I should not worry about that. Thanks for the advise I'll try it. I will take some picture soon.

This is how my plants look like when I came back, this may be due to underwater (the low leafs are "dropping"), last time I've water them I've only gave them 1.2 L each, I think this is not enough for the big pot they are in, let me know what you think !

Very Nice Plants:thumbsup:
Looks like they ran out of water and are telling you they need a drink. 3 days seems short though. (Got this from a previous post on the 30th). What size are your pots? if 2 gallon or less you may need to transplant to a bigger pot. Also instead of a measured amount of water or nuted water try watering them untill it comes out the drain holes. This ensures the entire root system is watered not just the top.

The plants are in 15L containers (almost 4 gallon). Thanks for the advise, I was used to get a certain amont of water, it was easier with smaller container. I gave them just a little water yesterday before the dark cycle and they looked much better this morning. For the next watering will take you're advise and water them until I have some comming out of the drain holes.

Good to see you got the right size pots, you should be good to go with them. Plus if you start watering the way I suggested and a good nute schedule you will end up with some really impressive buds. Just to give you a little more of a pointer is when I water my plants in pots that size I use 3 liters per pot of water or nuted water. I do this in a large tray or bathtub and let the excess drain out the bottom for 15 min, then I place them back in the box. This way I know I won't flood the grow area by overflowing the saucer below and the plants are definitely watered thoroughly for the next 5 to 7 days. Also over time you will be able to tell when they need water just by tipping the bucket and judge by the weight of the bucket.
Again great work so far and your plants are impressively healthy.

Thank you for the comment, I'm quite happy with the result too and it's not too shabby for a first grow. I've follow you're suggestion and water them more. For sure this will help me water them less often. The lift pot trick is something I already knew but still a really good advise.
I'll keep this log updated, hopefully they will stay healthy, but I'm not looking forward to such big harvest (like that I won't be disappointed), I will take what mother earth is willing to give me, I not too worries about that. I really only hope to get an harvest.

Thought I'd chime in. Read through your entire log really quickly..
Two things:
1. Your plants are looking great. Keep doing what you're doing.
2. Earlier people were giving you a hard time about your ventilation. It is ideal to have your light on it's own ventilation as well as the room, but as long as you're exhausting the entire room in 5 minutes and your temperatures at the canopy are good then you have no problem.
As far as I'm concerned your ventilation is fine as long as your temps are in check.

I've just check my max temps is 80 F... I guess this is not too bad and as didn't saw any sign of heat stress, I wasn't really too concern.
I'm using an 450 CFM fan and the room is 12" x 8" x 7" high = 672 cubic foot area.
450 CFM / half = 225 CFM (let's say scrubbing and the 25" duct cut it by half)
672 / 225 = 2.986666 about 3 minutes to exhaust the whole room.
I still exhaust the room in LESS than 5 min.
Here is today's update as the same time.

As you can see the leafs are ready to fall, I'm not worry since they are near the harvest time. The seed bank that sold me these say 8 weeks, I've check some trichomes on the top of the 3 plants and they all seem clear. Will they get cloudy/amber in 1 week ? I guess not ! i just read all your log and they look fantastic. my plants are about three weeks old im a bout to start flowering them next week. what kinda setup are you runnin i know you have the 1000 watter hps. but how big is your grow room
The room I'm using is about 12" x 8" (7" high). I have a 450 CFM vortex fan with an Odorsok filter connected on the fan and blowing the air outside passing by 25" of insulated duct and the cool tube my HPS is in. I've just bought a grow tent to have an area to do the veg and another for the flowering/drying. Hope this answer you're questions, if you still have some, just ask me !

Did you get info on question of water only for last 2 weeks with organics? I have simmiliar question going on nearing cut time.
I read all of journal, perhaps I missed it. Approx. when did you take the clones and how many per main plant to make eleven TNG from three females....and then aprox how long after (4?) clones per plant ...to flower? Thanks.....
I didn't find the list and plan nearly as well as yourself. Thanks for your log and information contributing to learning curve.

I didn't got any answer from anybody about the fert. But as reading on the the3lb website: "In theory there??s no need to ??flush? organic soil grown herbs before harvest. And, because organic fertilizers are not salt based like chemical fertilizers, traditional techniques for ??flushing? wouldn??t carry away nutrient salts in the traditional meaning of the word ??flush? anyway." But I did gave them plain water... I want some smooth smoke !
I've actually took 5 clones per plants when they where 1 month in veg. As it was the first time with clones, I've lost some of them. It's easier to take clones before flowering.

Thanks man, I wish you good luck with your grow, if you ever need some advise I'll be happy to help out, if I can... I smoking my sample as I write this. It's a bit harsh because I made it dry quite fast and the manicure job is awful, but it's a nice high ! Be sure I'll will keep updating !
Any other lurkers ?
Peace :rastasmoke:

Well, if they answered you, they wouldn't be proper lurkers, would they?:)

Smoke report:
Really I'm so happy about the result, the smoke is smooth and sweet. It's more a head high, the kind of high I like. I have a lot of ideas rushing in my head, no paranoia ! One of my friend when asked told me that he had the impression that someone was pulling his "soul" up from his head, a little bit like floating.
