This is just starting with my plants. I am seeing a slight yellowish on some of the lower leaves and they are drooping. Just some back ground. I have been useing half level of nuts every other watering. I have been watering the soil with a hand sprayer so I am just getting the top layer wet and doing this two times a day - I over watered on my last grow so trying not to do that. Just for some of the other info you need. Heat should not be a problem they are under t12s with several fans in an AC room. Also the PH of the water was right at 6.4 but I found tonight the PH of the drain water is 5.4 which is to low from what I have read. Can the low PH be causing this problem. I have some pictures. Please let me know if you need more info.

Might be a bit early for that... How long has that been going on?

When you water, don't be afraid to fully saturate the soil. If you have good drainage (Btw how good is the drainage on the bottoms of the containers? Might want holes up the sides too) excess water will not build up in the bottom. You also don't want constant water in the soil. It's not hydro ;) They want to dry out and take a deep breath.

Also the PH of the water was right at 6.4 but I found tonight the PH of the drain water is 5.4 which is to low from what I have read.

How are you adjusting ph? Water @ 6.4, when put into nutrients, will most likely not be 6.4 anymore. Might explain why your run-off is low. I know my nutrients take my ph down.

Hope it helps... :stoned:

That soil looks suspicious..How much perlite do you have in there?
Your soil needs to be very aerated with good drainage. Also do you have the cover on the bottom of those pots? If so take them off. They hold alot of excess water.

the lights are an inch above the plants - this just started I have been giving them the very light nutrents EVERYOTHER FEEDING for a week or more now. Also they did not get over watered they have been very very lightly watered. The PH is checked and is in the 6.4 range AFTER nuts are added. If it is a PH problem how do I get the soil PH up?
