Pre-employment physical and drug test...done at same time?

So I need to do both either late next week or the week after, was clean for bout 2 months, lapsed for a few days and by the time the test rolls around it will be about 21 days. I am trying to decide between dilution and substitution, I have a tested clean sample from myself on ice but what I really want to know is if anyone has had to go through this for a job? Is the physical and the drug test done at the same time or in your experience are the drug test and physical two separate things? I was leaning towards subbing but it might be tricky if its done at the same time as the physical...

i would go with dilution... i was also clean 4 21 days and used the dilution method and it worked. But if u wanna be 100 % sure u will pass then go with substitution.

Since I figure the I still have at minimum another 10 days until I need to to the test I am going to start experimenting with dilution on Monday or Tuesday and see what kind of results I get. The only thing I am really hoping for is that since it took me roughly 30 days to get a faint line on the at home and was probably getting a solid pass line between 40-45 days, and the fact that I only smoked like a quarter when I lapsed that maybe 21 days with dilution will be enough. Mind you that I was a heavy smoker and 40 days completely clean was with me smoking daily for years.

I am nervous trying the subbing with the physical thrown in, I don't know how it all works. The good thing is that I am up for another job that is strictly a piss test only so if I need that to fall back on I can sub for that one using the awesome directions given in this forum.

Its always a good idea just for future info to find out how long it takes to get clean. Pickup some cheap thc strips off ebay and check yourself. But realistically most of us don't have 2 months to try and get clean so thats why most of us advocate subbing with synthetic urine.

Yea eBay is where I got my tests strips, I just ordered an additional 10 this week so I could mess around with it to see if the dilution method will work. Like I said, at roughly day 30 I was getting a very faint line on the at home so I'm hoping since I only had a minor :jointsmile: lapse that it won't take as long. The only reason I had so long is because I was assuming I would get tested when I found in job in my field...this hasn't been an easy 3 months, I never thought I would miss it as much as I do. Needless to say it will be a bonanza when I can start again, I am already planning on buying myself a new piece to reward myself.

I would definetly sub on this one though, I need to get more details to see if the drug test and physical are at the same time, which I fear they are.

This is exactly why I advocate synthetic urine. Why have to change your life style because some assholes going to drug test you to see what kind of bad shit you're doing while off work.

I hear ya, I wish I had done a little research before I stopped. I didn't think it would as easy to sub as everyone says it it. I mean the step by step instructions are awesome and spending the $30 on the QF is definitely worth it. I absolutely plan on picking it back up after I get a job and then I am not going to worry about it when I look into applying for jobs in the future.

Drug testing is such a joke anyway, I know everyone here probably feels the same but I mean honestly the guy blowing coke on his time off can be clean in a matter of days but I smoke a little weed and its the end of the world, so lame.

It is lame, crack and meth heads who are easily the most damaging to them selves and society get off easy, and we the pot smokers get it in the a$$. That is really screwed up. I hope that the political climate sparks some change soon. Drug tests should be outlawed. Big pharma should stop the profits protected by lies and cover-ups. Shame on the FDA, and Dea continuing to stonewall us and prosecute us when their own know the numbers are supporting our plight.It is all about money, and I believe that the balance is slowly tipping in our favor, helped in part by the green movement. They cannot ignore us forever, I just hope I live to see it.
