J's or get a pipe?

Hey there, just asking for some opinions. I'm about to get a half or an O of schwag. I have papers. Should I get a metal pipe instead though? I don't have any pipes, and I'll be toking alone for right now. I'm not sure if j's waste green to a significant degree, or what. I figured they did since they were lit all the time, but then I roll small j's, so the fireball is pretty tiny vs. a small metal pipe more of it would be lit up anyways so it would seem just as if not more wasteful. I keep going back and forth with myself on this. Should I just get a small metal bowl anyways for smoking the roaches? What do you guys think? Do J's waste green too much? Remember i'm hooking up w/ schwag, not KB, if it were KB I'd def get a bowl no question. Thoughts?? :)

Oh, and keep in mind, hotboxing with my j's is totally doable. so no worries about the 2nd hand smoke getting wasted since i can smoke in the car and get all the smoke to myself. haha. can you incorporate the roaches into a j? or is that inefficient? maybe i should just go get a metal bowl. ahhhh!!!

Joints are actually pretty effective just get really thin low residue papers. If you are going to get a pipe go glass.

Metal pipes are yucky.

what kind of papers do you mean then? The ones I have are just the regular zigzag whites.... only kind ive ever rolled with (i also use a zigzag machine, so yeah, my j's aren't as fat as other more-seasoned rollers)...

Ever since I started rolling joints, that's pretty much all I do. I have a bong, but I still prefer to roll a joint. I usually pull my roaches a part and smoke them in my bong though. Sometimes I will put them in a joint, but they tend to get kind of harsh.

I'm sure you will eventually want a pipe though, so go with glass.

I know everyone like joints,cause joints are fun and all,but when burning alone,I find a pipe more better.Probably cause I can just hit it a few times and go back inside(no smoking in my house) I mean,its quick and easy.But if you can chill in your house or your just relaxing,yeah,maybe a joint would be more fun.

A waterpipe is a good thing... it smooths out the harshness, and the water filters out a lot of bad things that would otherwise be going into your lungs. BTW, with a waterpipe, there is no waste, and it only takes half as much to do the job. Waterpipes are inexpensive to make... the one in the pic cost less than $15 to make.

Bingo. A waterpipe or a bong will let you take larger hits, wasting less of the smoke. It'll also get you good a lot faster than a joint or a pipe (especially a nasty metal one. Why would you prefer a metal pipe to a glass one?) even with schwag. But then, when/if you get kb, the bong will be amazing.

I would say J's personally.
Never get a metal pipe (Hipocrite) they suk, and they are just not worth it. If your getting a pipe get a glass one.. BUT if you are smoking shwag and you are using a pipe get a metal one why mess up a glass pipe with some shit weed?? idk just go J's or get some swisher sweets/ it might be a texas thihng.

I would advise you to not smoke in your car because the smell will stick to the inside of your car and never go away. Then the next time a cop pulls you over he will smell it and have reason to search you.

Dude, rule number 1 is that weed and cars don't mix, rule number 2 is not to put yourself in a position where somebody has to *DO* something about it.....refer to rule number one. rule number 3 is don't drive "cop candy"....refer to rule number one. rule number 4...what you do inside the privacy of *your* own home is nobody elses business, but anything you do in public is subject to scruteny.... refer to rule number 1.

I own a metal pipe, so there's two points I'll make for you...like they haven't been made already....I can pack about 3/4, if not a full, blunt into my pipe, it's a good smoke, but compared to a joint, it's a waste. You still smoke it, but whatever. The down side of a metal pipe, well, put an open flame on a pan for a while then stick your finger there, they get HOT...

alright, since it is back ill weigh in with my thoughts.

metal bowls to me arent that bad, but id still go glass, and its not bad for a basic one being only about 20 for a spoon style glass bowl.

papers, whatever you like to use i would suggest them, i use e-z widers, they help me roll better joints when i put enough into them, the extra paper helps me to get a good tight roll on them.

as for rolling the roaches back in the joints, do it, its a cool way to recycle the green, and if you get enough roaches, you can roll the generation joints, and the 2nd generation joints, and keep re-rolling until it wont light from all the sticky resin. Just remember to remove the original papers.

and for my opinion on what should have occured, papers and joints. they dont waste too much, especially how he said he rolls. it develops the skill, compared to bowl packing, its rather complex, while bowls are no cake-walk themselves, but they are more of a break and burn method. And generation joints will get him rather high.

though were he to have sprung for a bowl, good for him, hope it was glass, though there is no really good problem with metal, the bowl definitly helps you conserve, especially if you use a quarter or something to block the cherry smoking, good for stealth smoking and the such. Will give him more uses than the papers, and is more portable and ready to go.

Its always easier to put roaches in a bowl. Especially if your in your car, get a glass piece man no metal.

yea if ur bout to cop a half or an o then i would just buy a bong.i use a metal pipe personally, just because i really have to conserve on weed, besides weekends, i have to make a 20 sack last me a week and my pipe works really great. i have a small glass bowl too but i actually use my oter one more just to save on weed tho i definately prefer glass to metal otherwise.

Me and my cuzin always smoke from this hard plastic Graffix bong, and it is amazing the hits get from this thing. it didnt cost that much either like 30-40 dollars so i would invest in a bong if i were you

oh yea and for j's i use the normal zig-zags mostly, but the best are the really thin zig-zags, the ones that have the word zig-zag print in fancy letters on the paper, they look cool as fuck.

pipes are pretty good for conserving weed and/or smoking by one's self, but if you plan to blaze with friends then joints are the way to go, also they taste better that pipes.

bong every time, it conserves your smoke a lot better than j's .
one massive bowl smoked in one go and i dont want a smoke for ages.
also in the uk tobacco goes in everything apart from blunts, so unless you like tobacco smoke a huge bong
