plants. however, they are planted in pots. the seeds are mixed breeds from the different shit i get, and i don't know which ones come from which strains, whether they are male or female, or whether they are sativa or indica. i live in an area with 4 seasons and i don't think my plants will mature quickly enough to harvest them before the first frost of winter. i just planted 2 today and one yesterday. also, a friend of mine told me to water them for 3 days and leave them alone for 5 days. i just wanted to know basically how to take care of my plants because this is my first time growing and i dont know shit about growing, just smoking the shit. :rasta:

Well, most likely its too late and the first frost will ruin your plants. Definently considdering you have no idea what strain or anything like that. After they are outside for a while and it starts to get later, you might wan considdering moving inside.

Good Luck,

You can use anything from Compact Floros and you can largely bennifit from using an HPS and I got mine off eBay for $100 shiped. Local garden centers or grow shops will also have some good lighting. CFL's are at walmart, home depot, lowes and they are super cheap to buy and super cheap to operate.

um so i have this light on my lizard's cage which is just a basic flourescent light, not heated, will it work? because i'm planning on selling the lizard and cage anyway. if i can keep the light and grow with it that would be the shit.

Not enough lumens, and I believe that reptile lights are not the right spectrum for plants. You want 'daylight' or 'cool white' style flourescents.

Edit: Please update your profile to fix the age field. You are not 88.

Stinky is right. Your lizard light is most likely to be the wrong spectrum. It would only aid in the assistance of other, "better" lighting. I would, if you can, look on eBay and check out your local grow stores. See what hey have to offer, do some pricing on some HID lighting, and like I said, you can always use CFL's. Seriously, you can buy a pack of 3 100w replacments for around $8 from Wal-Mart. Buy 2 packs and go to Home Depot and get a couple 3 bulb light fixtures. Approx. $10 a fixture. Wire the fixtures to an extension cord and... HOORAH!! you got light! Each bulb has around 1600-1700 lumens, Times that by 6 and you got somethin like 96,000 lumens... I think?
