When is it too late to plant outdoors???

I am in the Northern Hemisphere, have been vegging indoors.....my question, is it too late to plant them outdoors now in the second week of July?? The plants are about two feet tall. Frost isn't likely in this region until mid to late October. Also this strain, generally flowers in about 7 weeks time.

Anybody have any experience or advice on whether this is possible??

Would have to say your ok to plant outside still. You got em at 2 feet allready so they should be ok. Also depends on the strain ya got going, but would have to say your allright. Cutting it close though to being little late in season. They wont start to flower till around mid-late aug-sept in your area so give errr.

i got a bunch of clones the third week in june and put them outside only just getting foot foot and a half now. . .am i going to be introuble come oct?

Yep, i'm in Ontario.......yes, their between 20 and 24 inches, been growing them under the lights, the strain flowers in 7 weeks, I realize i'm cutting it close, but just wanted to make sure that I'll still be okay by putting them in the ground.

well if it doesnt work out you can always finish it inside

Check the weather channel and see what the current sunrise/sunset times are to calculate how many hours of daylight you are currently receiving. If it is still 14 or 15 hours, you should be fine to plant. If it is already at 12/12 and you plant, your girls may be smaller and yield may be less. I would still go for it either way, smaller, later-flowering plants are better for stealth and such.
