Hello! It's great to finally be a member here.

I understand that clones, mothers, and vegging plants all need different humidity and temperature. I read that most people host these 3 plants in the same room since they all use fluorescent light bulbs.

Using a single room (5 feet wide by 6 feet long by an 8 foot ceiling), can you please explain how this is possible and if you need separate thermostats, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air conditioners, and heaters for the 3 seperate stages of plant life (mother, clone, veg).

I don't quite understand how to do this... Thanks!

hi,this is possible if the room is split into sections - a section for clones and vegative stage plants on a 20hrs on 4hrs off light schedule and a section for flowering with the lights on for 12hrs and off for 12 hours, your flowering section must be light tight (complete darkenss) during the 12 hour lights off period

edit - p.s. METAL HALIDE / HIGH PRESSURE SODIUM light systems is by far the better way to produce decent crops, they may cost a bit more to purchase and too run but the cost is worth it in the long run,use your cheap cfl lights for seedlings and young clones to get them started

Hey stinky! How many mothers, rooting clones (under humidity dome), and vegging plants can you have under that 4000w metal halide you speak of? I hope I can afford to grow one day!

I know it may vary depending on room size, etc, but maybe you can give me a few examples. Hoping to have 2 mother plants.
