To flower or not to flower

Hey all i turn to you experienced people in here with a question which have been troubling me quite a bit, when cannabis is autoflowering will it increase or decrease the yield (quality rather than quantity) to put them in 12/12 or should i keep them under 18/6 ?

The reason why i'm asking is that i'm flowering some other plants at the time being and i'm trying to decide wether its a good thing or bad thing to have an autoflowering lowrider under a 600w HPS on 12/12 like the others ?

No, it wont hurt the quality, it will however reduce its yield. Usually with an "autoflowering" plant you would keep it under 18/6 until it started showing sex. Usually 1-2 weeks, Then start 12/12, but either way, quality shouldnt be affected

Thank you, do they yield from just staying on 18/6 the entire time or should i flower them late as you say, give them a week or 2 extra before or?
