What's good, first time grower here. Got some feminized Church seeds from Hemp Depot and decided to start my first log after getting some advice in the Plant Problems section. Used 2 T12 lights for nursery before putting them in my grow box with a 600W MH/HPS conversion lamp. Here are some pics of the grow box and my 6 girls.

PJWill24, looks like you have invested much time and effort into building a nice grow box! I have read great things about the Church being a pretty darn fine strain to grow, but it seems like it is also a tough strain to grow! But, from your construction of the box, it appears you are a very thorough, detail-oriented person, so any problems you encounter should be overcome, especially with the help of the experienced growers on this board.

I wish you much luck in this your first grow - I am nearing the tail end of my first grow, so I know you must be excited gearing everything up. I'm looking forward to following your log through to a successful harvest, weight and smoke report! Be good out there!

And here are the last 3, the two together I just transplanted into 1.5qt pots but I fucked it up and lost alot of roots, it was my first attempt at transplanting and I'll just leave it to my brother from now on. Do these plants have a shot of recovering from my inexperience? Last pic is of the runt of the group.......

Thanks for the comments, my brother and friends also helped with it. I'm about 3 weeks into this, and I can't wait for the whole process to unfold.

So I put them back into the growbox with the 600MH light and they are starting to look all droopy again, temps are around 80-85 and I got a boxfan on them constantly. Any have an explanation or is this usual? Here are some pics........

Temps actually get around 80 and under, my mistake on the temps. Didn't feed them any nutes after transplanting, fed the 3 bigger ladies 1/4 Big Bloom before I put them back into the box, I had taken them out before for the same problem thinking temp was bothering them, lowered the temp and same problem is happening. Planning to transplant the 3 bigger ones into 3 gallon pots today to prevent any of them getting rootbound.

Been awhile since I updated, camera broke.....:(

Moved the 5 bigger girls into their 3 gallon pots and started the flowering process, also recieved my Rapid Rooters and cloning supplies so I can start taking some cuttings soon. Plan to get a new camera within the next few days so pics to come! Everything is going well and I can't wait to see some buds.

PJ, it looks like you were able to figure out the drooping issue? What was the cause? It doesn't sound like it was the temps. Maybe the box needed to be aired out from the fresh paint fumes? Also, do your buckets have good drainage? Are the white buckets completely opaque, or do they allow light through the sides to the roots?

Sorry to hit you with all of the questions, and my eye is not that experienced yet; but, I thought I would throw them out there anyway.

I'm looking forward to some good pictures, my friend!

I'll handle the questions since it's half my grow as well, PJ is my brother.

I would guess the drooping was caused by underwatering. I was worried about overwatering so much that I wasn't giving enough, the plants shot right up when I figured that out. The old pots didn't allow light to get to the roots so that was a non-issue but the thought did cross my mind at one point. And the paint fumes were taken care of way before the plants even entered. We had the box done weeks before we had the seeds and such.

So as it stands right now, we got 6 female Church plants, 5 flowering right now and I've decided to keep the other one as a mother plant for clones. Mostly all of the ones flowering are at about 10 inches high right now.

Update, 5 Church ladies are through week 1 of flowering, white pistils can be seen on all, I promise I'm getting a new camera sometime this week so I can show you all, but you'll just have to go on my word. Plants are looking beautiful and couldn't be going better for a first grow.

Here are some pictures of them. The first 5 are them at about day 18 of flowering.

The next one as you can see is experiencing some sort of serious problem, does anyone have any ideas what this is and why it's only happening to one of them?

SWEET GOODNESS! That Church is lookin' soooo sweet and good! My guess from lookin' at that one problem plant is some serious nute burn. I've seen it on should's PPP and on greenatik's Pilav - check their threads, as your burn looks just like theirs. Both of them added some bat guano, which I believe is a natural nitrogen additive? Double check me and/or wait for someone with much more grow experience than I, but over-nute is my guess.

I didn't see this plant in the later pics, and I saw no follow up questions and/or answers, so you may have already answered your own question; if so, disregard my rambling and focus only on the sincere praise of those Church ladies! They are no doubt dressed in their Sunday's finest, eh?

DANG FINE WORK! Keep up the outstanding work, and you will be providing us all with an incredible weigh-in and smoke report! Thanks for all of those fantastic, drool-worthy pics!
