Hello community, i am a first time growing just growin now, got some schwag goin that i nabbed from a friends bag to see if i could grow. Wondering about any problems at all. If i do get a sucessful grow I will try to go for nug. I am lookin for these traits in the plant


Decent yield - anything from 250+

highest thc possible grown by a noob- ive read alot and seen even with super potent strains that if ur bad at growing others could go for more, im looking for a couch lock high if that helps

probly could go 5 feet wouldnt want to make it that high but i have the room to place if needed. 3 feet would be perfect 5+ depends on yield and thc

Joey weed from hempdepot getting his white widow * heard there piss easy to grow cant remember who said that tho *

And also big bud plant from hemcy

Perferably nothing like diesal not going for a super strong smelling plant. I DO NOT CARE BOUT TASTE :9 it could taste like the worst stuff ever specially if its a really great stoned couch lock high

This is grown indoors btw! at a temperature of around 90 degrees, and i know about marijuanna having high transpiring rates and i water them 3 times a day and often spritz them with a spray of water to keep them from drying out. on their stems and leaves, not dirt or roots

One other question quick to add in, i planted 7 seeds in the middle * i learned this was a waste* and i was just hoping for them all to do a SUPER FUSION and become some thick tree thing but i learned thats not so much the case, anyways when they sprouted * i didnt germinate just put a half inch down* they were all seperate plants all 7 sprouted along the side and this confused me so much? its not all in one spot there are 7 sprouts all in different spots among the wall

i cant make hide nor hair of that site navigation help please? lol and omg i was always thinking about using a red worm farm casting cuz ive always enjoyed fishing, they feed on scraps to which is heavenly lol and i heard the reproduce fast and dont die as fast as nightcrawlers on hooks.just never knew if the castings were good for the marijuanna, im not sure if im gonna use as fertilizer or a fertilizer spray, perhaps both? or will i get an overkill nutrients lock that i heard are so deadly?

I ALSO was thinkin about white rhino, ak47xwhitewidow from joey weed who has the greenhouse white widow grade, idk which is the better choice, im getting one joey weedseed pack and one from hemcy

White Widow- Stellar amounts of thc! even those leafs look nummy to make into something
Ak47- huge buds :D
White Russian- im not sure but wont this yield gigantic buds like ak47 with white widow potential?
Blue Widow - is the potency lost because of the cross with blue berry?

from hemcy i have no doubt i am getting big bud

there big bud is supposedly 20% if grown or higher at optimum and also an 800 gram yield, but i would be happy with a 500-600? specially considering im a noob farmer. Voice your opinions

Then slow down and look closer. There is no single sentence that will answer all of your questions, and if you don't care to participate in your own education...likely we will not care to participate, either. The learnin' is up to you.
Voice your opinions

Disregard the marketing hype, and look into the strains forum or the grow logs here at CanCom.
Bring your schwag to maturity a couple of times, then invest in the quality. (after you really know what you want, and how to grow it.)

See what appeals to you, and then read. All this marketing bullshit you keep asking about is irrelevant, if you don't know how to bring a lady to full maturity nor troubleshoot her problems along the way. Also...the indoor growing of 600 gram plants (dry weight) is unrealistic for any newbie, and likely most veterans of the sport, too.

oh not dry weight :9 i think if so wtf weed on steriods :p but hemcy says 800 grams and im pretty sure thats wet, idk how wet compares to dry if thats somewhere on the site could i have a link i havent seen it yet :o or kinda impossible differs by strain could all be diff ok ill take another look at that site o.O

When selecting genetics, would start-off selecting for growth habit, and (percieved) THC content...not cute names or fancy descriptions or unrealistic yields.
Have heard Big Bud grows large plants, but at a cost. Hearsay is that it is an underperformer when it comes to taste and effect, but I've never tried it myself, but have heard of other growers crossing it with quality strains to get a decent hybrid. If your schwag was any good to begin with, likely your genetics will produce the same results, if properly cared for.

In my opinion, the best way to increase yield...is patience. Patience with your seedlings/clones, patience while vegging, and patience while in flower. Trying to rush things becomes detrimental very quickly.

If you have a short growbox or closet, an indica dominant strain will work. Taller growspaces will allow for the stretch of a sativa dominant strain.

hey but rusty i have like a serious problem i ment to grow one and i thought it would be shitty seeds and stuff so i just planted 7 in one spot, ALL 7 SPROUTED ON THE SIDES! i didnt think it was possible unless the weed fairy rearranged :o but anyways when should i transplant these? one of them already is like 1 and a half incher and i was wonder an easy way to transplant? kinda scared of killing them, or should i take all of them in that and then put to a bigger pot once it gets bigger, thing is there not the farthest from each other which would cause problems once they got over prolly 3 inches wide which isnt that hard...

If you did not start with fresh soil, or possibly even if you DID start with new soil... you may have had some other vegetation seeds in the dirt. If you are 100% positive that the sprouts coming up ARE marijuana, then that sounds really strange. If you don't know, I wouldn't be surprised if you dug down to where you put those schwag beans and and saw them chilling out down below.

well from pics ive seen and from what little i can put together, they came out small stem and then 2 leafs appeared, slowly more leaves appearing, anyone know if this is mj lol, but yeah if it doesnt work ima go get actual potting soil and use my other seeds and not do like 293843..... lol alsooooo when they came out if looked like they sitll had a bit of husk on tip, which looked like a weed seed, i might investigate the middle but i hope they didnt make some like supercell plant, one root system many branches like mushrooms or something o.O and if it did im rich!!! lol

IDK...coffee just isn't right without donuts.

When they sprouted, if it's cannabis, the first set of leaves are round. After that...all the leaves will be the serrated-edge pattern we all know and love.

In regards to the seeds sprouting near the sides of the pot, likely they got pushed aside when watering. Happens often since unopened seeds aren't buried too deep, they often float, and care isn't taken when watering.

When circumstances warrant and I need to separate seedlings, I carefully scoop them out with a spoon, and transfer. Make sure soil is moist, but not wet when doing this. Occational minor root breakage, but the seedlings grow just fine. Don't pack soil too firmly, but try to eliminate air pockets. Refill pot after a few waterings if soil level has settled too much. I make sure to fill pot with as much soil as I can, allowing just enough space to add water and nutes.

Glad I could help you out... but why did you tell me to "go die?" :wtf: Haha. Make sure you are 100% positive. Rusty's suggestion of the seeds moving during watering makes sense, especially if your planting media is really fine. It's good to make sure you don't waste time on growing grass seed... but you definitely don't want to throw out a viable cannabis seed.

Wow you really need to read before you jump in a empty pool head first...

You are going to use red Worm Castings because you like fishing? Hey they do like it though was that by chance of your passion for fishing or do you have some knowledge? Cut the castings with perlite and a Sunshine Mix!!!!

You are not going to get serious results if you don not take it serious...

I mean I like skiing but I'm not going to put my poles in the soil because I enjoy Skiing:D..

Read up on some grows and when you think you know wait another 2-3 months of reading then jump in!!!

I'm not trying to mess with you but when you understand basic cultivation come back and read your first questions.... You will get a big kick out of it....
