This is the only section of the plant that got struck....
.....but can it spread?
.....should i chop early?
.....or is there some remedy i can spray on it or somethin....

That looks like Botrytis (gray mold), and needs to be removed from the plant... soon. Destroy the section that's removed. It is easy to spread the spores, so turn off any fans in the room and remove the affected area of the bud. I'd cut it back a little further than the area, just to make sure it all gets removed.
High humidity is a common cause of Botrytis, so I'd see what your humidity is and make sure it stays under 40%. I like the RH to be even lower during flowering, but that's just me. I'm not sure if it would be a good idea to spray the plant with a fungicide or sulfur, so I'd hold off on that and increase ventilation/reduce humidity until someone can chime in on using sprays this late in flower.

i agree, maybe when you are cutting it off. Maybe you should have a hose from the vacuum in hand..
dont want spores floating around..
best of luck

well i cut that cola off, way below the moldy part...and it consumed alot of buds... it went real deep....im guessing i had to throw away close to an ounce :(
im just hoping that the spores dont float around and find somethin else to land on..... hopefully my fans will blow that shit away!

as long as the conditions aren't right I dont think it would matter if a few spores got airborne. Good luck..

What is your Humidity in room?
You beleive that is from your lamps going off?
What is your temps and humidity Levels?
How many fans did you have going?

the humidity is usually around 50%.... I dont think that happened cuz my lights went out, I think it happened cuz my fans were out
