So i have been really unsuccesful doing clones on my plants. Can any one either direct me or explain in good detail how to take care of clones in soil after they have been cut and dipped in rooting solution. Thanks Everyone!!

yeah i don't think cuttings root well in soil, i never got them to but rockwool and rooting gel worked wonders and i grow in soil none of that tasteless hydro crap.

when I lived in the states i used rock wool for my clones. Now I only use soil. At first because rockwool was a big pain for me to get, now because I have become so accostumed to using soil that I prefer it.
I get the super little plastic cups, the ones that are are like for the bathroom or maybe a toddlers drink. I even cut off the top a little bit so it\s not too tall. You don[t want to use too much soil or it will get bogged down and can get moldy. I also throw in about 15% coco coir and 15% "hydro mix" bag soil. I don't think the percentage matters too much but the goal is too have a lighter airier soil than normal. So.....I take my cuttings out of the water they are sitting in, dip em in the rooting hormone and in to the cup of soil (into a hole I poked with a tooth pick). The cutting goes down about 75% into the cup, then I pack it in a little bit around the stem, but not too tight since you want the roots to have some air. Just enough to keep it standing erect.
So If the remaining fan leaves are really big I snip em a tad with scissors.
I place them directly under my flourescents 24 -7.
Now with the clones I used to do in rockwool I always used a humidity dome. Not with soil, I just try to be around for the first 3-4 days to spray em every 2 or 3 hrs with a mist over the entire clone. I make sure the soil is moist but not soaking wet.
After 3 or 4 days I stop misting and spray the soil directly about 3 times a day. Again keeping it moist but not too wet.
After a day or two of that I find I can water them directly. Once you see some new growth sprouting, they are rooted and ready to transplant into a bigger medium of your regular soil mix. I find that some clones take longer especially ones from a plant that has been sexed or started to flower.
Also it should be noted that where I live is Costa Rica, so pretty humid half of the year and maybe the reason I don't need the humidity dome.
Hope this helps
