ya know?? I love to like, smoke alot of really great weed and then go eat a whole bunch of different foods. And, like.. some things Ill cook and then put ketchup on.. but it used to be spelled "catsup." Which I think is just rediculous.
Yup.
Grazi is back in a classroom setting again.
And he is bored.
So.. ladies and gentley mans..
wont you be kind and entertain me?
Ill try and entertain you as well. But seeing as how useless FiOS info is droning around, bouncing from hard surface to hard surface before being absorbed and ignored by the silia around the ear-drum.
Ok so I just made that shit up.
But I still like cheese. I cant remember the name of the enzyme - I think maybe Lactate? - that processes Lactose, but what if Lactose-intollerant people can train their bodies to begin producing the enzyme once more? Cause think about it.. you would have to take pills just to be able to eat Pizza without having a tummy ache. Holy hell would I be screwed. Cause its expensive to have to keep purchasing supplements just to be able to process Lactose efficiently.
Wow... thats deep, man.
I love you too.

I am a fan of the return of 3 of our missing persons! O-man, H4H, and GLM!
Oh yeah, and cheese. I had a chicken parm sammich for lunch, on parm bread, with extra parm on top.
Enzyme is lactase. The -ase suffix denotes an enzyme. So if your sugar is lactOSE, the enzyme to break it down is lactASE. If you are working with a DNA chain, the enzyme to break it apart is DNA polymerASE (=breaks up the polymer).
Lesson complete; I'ma return to the acid digestion in porgress. :D

I'm a cook for a living, so I can completely say that I love food. I really would like to own my own Diner in the future, and serve a traditional New England menu, with my own twist on different dishes. If I could live in a dream world where all my wishes come true, I'd love to have a coffeehouse/sandwich shop in Amsterdam, so people can smoke good cannabis then when they get hungry, have a delicious sandwich.

That would take centuries. Vegetarians and vegans can lose their ability to digest meat, but they can get the ability back.

Lactose intolerance has been studied as an aid in understanding ancient diets and population movement in prehistoric societies. Milking an animal vastly increases the calories that may be extracted from the animal as compared to the consumption of its meat alone. It is not surprising then, that consuming milk products became an important part of the agricultural way of life in the Neolithic. It is believed that most of the milk was used to make mature cheeses which are mostly lactose free.
Roman authors recorded that the people of northern Europe, particularly Britain and Germany drank unprocessed milk (as opposed to the Romans who made cheese). This corresponds very closely with modern European distributions of lactose intolerance, where the people of Britain, Germany and Scandinavia have a good tolerance, and those of southern Europe, especially Italy, have a poorer tolerance.

I can only eat cooked cheese am I wierd i can make cheese on toast with half a block of cheese on and enjoy every bite but if i were to take a bite of raw cheese i wretch and find it disgusting.
I remember once living on cannabis food alone the hole day and being so fucked it was unbelievable.
I had one ounce of green to cook with i made
Breakfast- yoghurt, cereal, sugar rasperries and of course cannabis
Lunch- i made fried chinese noodles with onion chinese five spices, ginger, soy sauce and cannabis
Dinner- I made myself (by this time i was almost tripping and could hardly stand up) a fuck off big pizza(that came out of the freezer) with you guessed cannabis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was stoned for the next 36 hours and it was one of the best days of my life.

Causes trouble for me when im off the chron which i am now... i eat just to get enough calories to barely make it through the day
but when i got even a G and can take one big gravity hit before dinner (best dinner youll see) then its an experience and i want to be sitting in a dim restaurant with my date being my meal and the meal being the meal and we share it...LOL
Manicott' (manicotti makes it sound american)
you combine in a big bowl a lb or so of mozarella (i measure with my heart and stoomach) a good amount of fresh grated parmesan and a whole thing of ricotta. Add 1/4 lb of browned hamburger with onions and garlic... add some spinach and a lil basil and parsley and mash that shit up with your hands mmm thick and gritty feeling cuz of the hamburger (which can be omitted easily i like the added texture and also raw onion a lil bit...adds a crunch youll love red onions too or purpleish)
Oil a big glass pan i think the 8x24 or somethin i donno i could cook a whole chicken in it tho
boil the manicotti noodles for like 3 mins barely anything they cant rip when your handling and stuffing and they get soft in the oven anyways
pour a bunch of bomb (i did newmans own last time) organic marinara in the bottom of pan and start stuffin the noodles like blunts two fingers can block bottom of noodle and two fingers stuffin the bomb mixture deep in...
I always have exactly enough if not a liiiiil too much mixture to roll em fat (14 noodles although one always tries to break or become floor noodle)
set em in and cover with rest of marinara sauce and sprinkle a good amount of the leftover mozarella (which you saved just for this) on top and a lil parmesan
cook for 30 mins foil covered and 5 morer uncovered (just hot and fuckin delicious)
Smoke a lot of bud to where your vision can only fit noodles in it.
Share that shit and its filling and leftovers for the next day...never lasts more than the next day...
id say 25$ easily covers the whole meal if not 20$ and dont smoke a blunt before it has to be glass.
and thats my piece of heaven...nah it is heaven.
Im lurking...used to love this place but time to chime in is limited and its changed a bit...
but always worth signing in to share my favorite dish...
bury me with a loaded pipe and a few noodles of it and ill be all good if i wake up alive...just dont forget the lighter
and dont overboil the noodles...

food is wonderful. i love all kinds of food, and i shovel it in, stoned or not! why and how can you not like something that you need to live? why would you not want to make it the best possible? i LOVE TO EAT, luckily i have a very high metabolism! it'll slow down one day and i'll be screwed!
i also LOVE TO COOK! you can't give someone something much better than a homemade meal! it's love on many different levels.
one of my favs is pork chops w/potatoes and cheese.
-preheat the oven to 350 degrees
-cube potatoes (peeling is optional)
-season then put potatoes in the bottom of a pretty flat baking dish, think pyrex 13x9 or whatever you have
-add a little water, about enough to cover the pan bottom in a thin layer
-bake for ~45 mins.
-season your chops and toss right on top of the potatoes
-bake until the pork chops are just about done (this obviously varies for chop thickness, your oven and altitude!)
-about 7 minutes before it's done cube up a block of your favorite cheese (i like cheddar with this meal personally).
-remove chops, place most of the cheese on the potatoes, put the chops back on top and add remaining cheese to top of chops
-let melt
-enjoy (w/ketchup or catusp (is good!) or any other condiment)
stinky and katyowns, i am a native texan, but i did live in CT for a little while and learned how to make gravy (sauce, marinara or ____________ insert what you call it here!
it's pretty wicked if i don't say so myself!

My younger (unemployed) son has turned into a pretty good cook! He does dinner 3 nights a week, to take a load off me. (I do like to cook, but some nights, I'm just plain tired!) He made a pizza Wednesday night that was fabulous! Asiago cheese, portabellas red and green peppers and lots more! YUM!
Anyway, while we are rejoicing with our food this season, why not share a little of the wealth- play some FreeRice. Try hitting the "Change subjects"- they have added a few new categories recently!

Granny you posted in my thread! That makes me happy :) I haven't checked out that freerice link yet, but while Im thinking about it, I happen to really love rice. Its amazingly versatile and rather good for you as well (Ive been on a health kick the past couple years I guess you could say).
I have always wanted to develop my culinary skills.. not a bad idea with how much I love to eat :P If I had my choice, Id probably major in Asian cuisine.. without a doubt my favorite. I want to be at least a mediocre sushi chef, and I would be happy if I could do justice to a wide variety of Chinese and Thai dishes. One day I hope to travel over to the orient and get a first-hand glimpse of what its really like.
I cant imagine a cooler job than hosting one of those national geographic or travel channel shows where somebody goes all over the world sampling ethnic dishes.. I want to experience everything!

Cooking while baked adds interesting twists to your meal, just gottas be careful and make sure it works hah. But nothing like a blunt and a banging sandwich. Getting sauce all over the face and not giving a flip.
Im thinkin of doing a gourmet herb infused menu to show you can make great food and its easy to include the ganja.
