Hi all, so I've been reading posts and I really just need some reassurance. I've been taking a home test every week for the past 3 weeks with my first void of the day and have been passing. I quit smoking on 4/7/08 so I've been clean 85 days, but I see on here that some have taken longer to get clean. I actually tested dirty up until week 10. I have a test tomorrow at Quest, just the regular 5/50 gc/ms and I am still freaking out. How reliable are the home tests? I have one more I'm going to take in the morning before I go and I plan on drinking lots of gatorade etc just in case. This test pretty much determines my life so that's why I wanted to quit and do it right. Thanks for any help. :) and i wish i was like this-:stoned:

You will probably fail with all the worrying you are doing. Intense worrying has caused many to fail the day before your test. THC is released intensely into the bloodstream with the result being a failed test and your life ruined. Just kidding dude you will be fine. Just drink a couple of gatorades before your test piss 2 or 3 times and give midstream. Do not drink to much as you will produce a negative dilute. You will definately pass as those home tests are very accurate. Enjoy your new job.

Ok so I took my test and i got the results today. I got a negative dilute. Now I didn't mean to dilute I guess I just drank too much water. What does that really mean? Will they take that as a negative or retest? Or is every place different? I don't eat meat, would that make my creatinine low? I've now been clean over 90 days so I wouldn't mind a retest, but do some places take that as a fail? Thanks again for any help.

Yeah it depends on the company. How much fluid did you drink?
If its a DOT type job its the same as a positive.
