Just noticed I bought the hydroponic version of Grow Big. Going to used ocean forest soil, they guy at hydro shop(over an hour away) said I could use the hydroponic kind but only half of recommended dosage and then eye from there. He said it would last longer than the other or I could just take it back and exchange, kind of dont want to drive up there again. What you guys think? My sensi clones have been in dome for 4 days, need some expert advice..

Fox Farms' 'Grow Big' has two formulations, one for soil, one for hydroponics ... while you CAN use them interchangeably (I have), it is better to use them as defined ... I don't have the bottles in front of me now, but the soil version is 6-4-4, and the hydro version is something like 2-6-4 .. ??? don't trust my memory

Keep an eye on the pH of your nute solution. You may have to raise it to use hydro ferts in soil.

Stinky, not sure what you are talking about...you mean i might have to use more nutes than half strength

Your ph of the water nutrient mix. I used GH nutes at regular strength at a ph of about 6.0-6.5 and have had no problem.
